Just received call.  Said hello...said hello again.  I heard "Hi this is James from Home Security...how are you this evening?". I replied "I don't know!".  Long pause and i said firmly "what do you want?" and the call disconnected.  He had a real voice but it sounded as if it was a recording of some kind. Not sure if it was actually a call from Home Security since it is out of TX and I am many states away.  This is the first and only call I have ever recieved in solicitation of any kind on my cell phone line which I have had for almost 20 years.

Did not answer house phone until I researched the number.

 It's amazing just how many years in a row that I've "won" a free security system from these people.  I must be the luckiest person in the world....or not.  Scam...

Made the mistake of answering my cell phone.  Took several seconds after I said "Hello" for someone to answer.  As soon as he said something about a security system I hung up.

It is obviously a SCAM of some type.  This number ap-pears to be out of El Paso, TX.  I have lived in El Paso for over 30 years, and I know that there are many scams operating out of Juarez, Mexico that forward their outgoing calls through a 915 phone number, to make them look legitimate.   Either they have an accomplice establish a number on the US side, or they spoof an existing number WITHOUT THE LEGITIMATE CUSTOMER'S KNOWLEDGE. Such numbers are usually set up so that if the called party calls back, they get a "disconnected" message, or the call does not go through at all.  This is not something a legitimate business does.  A legitimate business does not slam the phone down when the person they call asks them whey they are calling, or any other valid question.  When a legitimate business calls, and the call goes to voicemail or an answering machine, they identify themselves, state the reason for their call, and leave a callback number.  A legitimate business does not hide its name on Caller ID.  Therefore, yes, this is a SCAM, and that has nothing to do with race. Thank God my phone has the capability of blocking numbers.  This one just got blocked!

i dont no what part of enbreed they dont understand  but have started getting call from them total spam scam

This was a phone call from a security systems and it was automated, when I  called it back to request to be not called it was a discontinued number or disconnected number. They are real smart they didn't give a company name, only it was a security system.

Received a call from this number, the following business day another 936-262-3747 and the next day 214-238-8207. Each P.O.S. caller who ignores the DoNotCall list or work for them, shall have a special place in hell.

Spam caller.  Spam calls automatically-do-not-ring:  I've installed the 'NQ Call Blocker' cell phone app—aka 'Call Blocker Free - Blacklist' by NQ Mobile Security that is useful for non-business phones.  I used its setting to change to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, incoming unwanted calls automatically do not ring or display as an incoming call (rings on the spam caller end of the call, but not the recipient end and only shows in the app).  I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to:  "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS".  Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist.  With my phone carrier service, I also turn voicemail OFF  so that it doesn't pickup a spam call after its set time to record.

I have 2 calls in a row listed on my cell phone missed calls, both at 10:02 am, I called back at 1:05 pm and got a recording saying the number is disconnected.

Called 10:30 am with caller ID saying El Paso - don't know anyone there and didn't answer. Machine picked up but no message left.

Barely missed the caled. Immediately called back, but got a recording saying that the number has been disconnected.

Bad Number

This # called and immediately hung up. Called back and message is disconnected number.
