I've been getting calls like this since I signed up for a rewards club card at a casino.  They've sold my number without disclosing that they intended to do it.

I miss this call and called it back and its telling me it disconnectedwhat is that this person needs to leve me alone what a creap

This number called me and asked if I had an alarm system. Luckily I do so I turned it on just in case. He said it was "James" and wondered if I wanted to have a wireless alarm system installed. Sounded like someone had a recording and tried to make it sound like there was actually someone there.

I heard a click and no voice on the end. I hung up after a few seconds.

This Number is still calling people, received one just today!  All Call ID said was El Paso.

Received a call from this number 915-533-0469. It was a recorded message timed to try to get you to think it's a person. They hung up when I said they had called a government number. Called back and the number had been disconnected.

Just got a call on my cell, caller I'D showed El Paso TX. We have family in Texas who is having health issues so I answered. Long pause, male comes on "Hi I'm James with the home security company. How are you today?" I hung up. Then I blocked the number.

I am tired of people calling when I am on the do not call list.  Apparently it is of no use.  We get to pay for these idiots to waste our time and cell phone usage because our government doesn't do anything about it.

Just called my cell phone at 933AM.  I didn't answer, and I don't have voicemail set up, so they can't leave a message. Based on the previous posts, I filed an FTC do not call complaint before leaving this post.

I don't answer calls to my cell that I don't recognize the caller. Plain and simple.

Received a call from this number today. I don't usually answer phone numbers that I don't recognize but, since it is an El Paso, TX phone number & I live there, I decided to answer.  It had some weird music playing and no one there.  I looked through my cell phone log and saw that this same number had called me a few days ago.  Since I had missed the call that day, I remember trying to call it back & an automated message said that the phone number was disconnected.  Definitely sounds suspicious to me.

This number IS NOT assigned to anyone and is therefore being used for SCAM and/or phishing purposes using multiple opportunistic prospects that can even include outrageous LIES concerning threats of lawsuits and the police.

Trying to give free security system in my area if I'm willing to post sign in my yard. Asked if I owned the home  I'm living in when said no the little pis hung up. Tried to call him back to explain how rude and don't call me again. Recording saying the phone number had been disconnected.
SCAM Scam scam

Was trying to cook and they called. I could hear the call center chatter, when I answered, I said talk or I'm hanging up. It was a person, he started reading his script about want to put a security sign in my yard, I interrupted and told him to give me his home number and let me call him during dinner.  He said call back at this number.  So, I did, it was a disconnected number.

This number is a spoofed number, cannot call it back. Calls come from a call center in TX that does not obey DO NOT CALL laws. They call me almost daily with some sort of scam offering.
The "home security" freebee is just one that I get from this same call center. Alliance Security in Dallas, so the salesman said.  800-491-7119.

No name callerID: http://m.safecaller.com/9155330469 Spam caller. Spam calls automatically-do-not-ring: On my cell phone, I've installed "Call Blocker Free - Blacklist" by NQ Mobile Security. It is useful for non-business phones to only accept calls from phone numbers I want, incoming unwanted calls automatically do not ring (rings on the spam caller end of the call, but not the recipient end and shows in the app instead of the phone call log). I go to the app>Main screen>Funnel icon>Blocking mode> change it to: "Accept ONLY FROM WHITELIST and CONTACTS". Add the phone numbers you wish to receive calls from to your Contacts (keep your Contacts up-to-date as normal) and/or add non-contacts that you wish to receive a call from to the app Whitelist. With my phone carrier service, I also turn voicemail OFF so that it doesn't pickup a spam call after its set time to record.

UPDATE: I'm liking "Call Blocker" by embware better for the same capabilities; but also with the ability to add a blocked number chosen from the blocked call log to the whitelist, with a name so I know the name associated with the phone number.

hang up, did not leave message on machine

I received a call from this number. I didn't recognize it so I sent it straight to voicemail. I don't think the person on the other end realized it and was talking a foreign language. Not sure which as I couldn't understand him.
