I got 2 calls few minutes  ago. they left a message (with foreign accent)  threatening me to take legal action if I ignored the message. I do not owe any money to anybody. sounds like a scam. I blocked the number on my phone. The call was from Sloughhouse CA.

Received a 2nd call from this #.  Just now and about 2 hours ago.

It's a scam for sure.

I got the similar 2 phone messages  from 916-222-7426 threatening to take legal action if I did not call back.  I do not owe anyone $.  This is definitely a scam.

I goit a call saying from 916-222-7426 as from IRS? to call them back immediatly!!! called them but only answering machine!

Got a call just now saying, 'It is important you or your attorney call back 916-222-7426.  If not legal action would be taken.  Again it is important to call back, if not all I can say is 'Wish you good luck'.  It is a recorded message, when I said, 'Hello', no answer.

Are we living in US?

916-222-7426- keeps calling my house therating us saying my deceased dad owes IRS...this is a scam. They said they are the tax crime unite.

This is a scam. As soon as he threatened me I knew it.  IRS would never call.  I recieved this call 9:30 am this morning stating that he was calling from IRS Head Quarter in CA. He threatened me too.  when I asked him what time was it in CA he had no answer, so I  told him it was 6:30 in the morning and the office is closed.  He hung up on me otherwise I was to improve his knowledge that IRS headquarter is in Washington DC.  

Received call from this number 6-6-14 at about 3:32 p.m. eastern. Caller ID said it was from YMAX COMMS CORP. The caller had a foreign accent, claimed the IRS had called us 2 times and that the IRS had turned the "claim" over to them. We were told th "go to the courthouse (in California??!!) and pay $25,000. A scam definitely. Now how do we get this info to the Feds to take action? Call the FBI or ....?

Received 2 calls today from 916-222-7426 threatening me with arrest from the IRS.

Just received the call and i tried to order orange chicken and he got angry and hung up

GOT A CALL FROM 916-222-7426 THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE IRS AND THEY NEEDED ME TO CALL RIGHT BACK. WHEN I CALLED THEY WANTED MORE INFO WHEN I TOLD THEM TO CALL ME BACK ON THE HOME PHONE THEY HUNG UP ON ME. GUESS THAT IS JUST ANOTHER SCAM

Report the Calls to the real IRS here:
•report the incident to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration at 800-366-4484.
•You can also file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at FTC.gov. Add "IRS Telephone Scam" to the comments in your complaint.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Left a threatening voicemail. Always tell anyone calling that you will call their agency back to verify if there is hesitation you know it's a scam. Anyone especially the IRS Will always leave always tell you their full name and badge number.  

Just got a call from the number. Scared the sh** out of me. Told me I had to have $4,000 in 45 minutes.  Ask did I have credit card, response "NO". How much money in the bank, $50.00 (lied). Told me to go to bank and take out loan. Told I didn't have transportation to bank. Told me to take Taxi to bank. Well, it's gonna take me 15 minutes and the person stated that they would be on hold while I get money N strongly suggested that I do NOT hang up or put them on hold. Also, a WARRANT has been put out for my arrest. WTF!!! Was able to get off phone countless lies and I was instructed to call back in 2 minutes. Well, I called the IRS about this issue. SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, just got a call from this number "John Harrison" with the IRS....foreign accent, called back said number couldn't receive any other messages.......916-222-7426

Have had this idiot calling a couple of times. He is a ridiculous clown. Just laugh and tell him to go to hxxl.

I just got a call from this number.  I tried calling it back and it would ring once and hang up.  I later got another saying they'd missed a call from this number and asking my name and phone number.  I told them they'd left me a message so they should tell me who they were.  I then said I was pretty sure this whole thing was a a scam and wasn't about to give them any personal information at which point they said, "Well, if you think this is a scam, maybe you should hang up"!  Ballsiest scammer I've ever talked to.  The nerve!!!!!
