these people have called me 19 times between 243pm and 312 pm.  this is getting rediculous

They have been calling and harassing.me for over a week saying I.have charges against me for a cyber crime I had to change.my cell phone number because.when I blocked them they just called from another number. And now that they cannot contact me they are calling and harassing dispatch at my job in order to speak with Mr.being extremely rude.

Caller keeps calling and left 2 messages but called 10 times. Teling me I have charges against my ss# and he will be turning it over to the courts in CA because I haven't returned his calls.I have no idea what he's talking about so I never called back.I can't understand him so I can't make out where he said he's calling from. I really wish these called would stop.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Today I got the same thing a man with a broken accent saying it was for my social security number. I got really scared so I called the general attorney then I looked up this nuber its a scam a big scam

Its a scam we can turn them it I was so scared I called the general attorney The goverment would send a formal letter if they wanted something from us. No worries tell them you ar turning them in.

My daughter got several calls from this number and they keep calling her, about 10 times.  We called them and I told them not to call her again and they had broken English. They kept calling even after I told them to stop calling her.  

They will not stop.   You should consider a call blocker.

Telling an Indian scammer to stop is like talking to a stone wall.   Also, some of them get angry if you tell them to stop and increase the number of calls.  They are hard-core scammer/extortionists and do what they please.  They like to pick on women, single mothers, the elderly and members of the immigrant community.

Call blocker is your best bet.  Also don't pick up on numbers you don't recognize.

This number, 916 469 7012 called our company and threatened our receptionist.  We want to report this to the authorities.  

He was trying to get info about the person that answered the phone a social security number.  We were told he was from a legal department in California.  He sounded of Indian background.    We googled this and see this has happened to other.

SAME HERE THEY KEEP CALLING MY WORK PHONE NUMBER AFTER I TELL THEM THERE IS NO ONE HERE BY THAT NAME I HANG UP, HE CALLS BACK AGAIN I HANG UP AGAIN, HE CALLS BACK ASKING WHY I AM HANGING UP ON HIM!!! SO ANNOYING!

Someone from this number called my job stating I need to call the State Attorney's Office as soon as I can because someone is using my social security number.  Once I called they were asking crazy questions as to what is my work number and what is my name.

I have gotten several calls from yesterday and still counting today!!!  OMG!!  1 calls my work, says I am going to prison and he will laugh.  He says nasty things and is very hateful.  I hang up then he calls back and says if you hang up you will have something to worry about.  I hang up again.  Nothing---until a few hours later.  OMG.  Where do they come from.  I opened up an email to unsubscribe and OMG, has that caused me misery.  I mean, how can someone call you at work, speak with you or leave a message and not care if they get you fired or really what they say to you.  
GOD WILL PUNISH THOSE WHO DO THIS.  I HOPE YOU ALL THE PEOPLE THAT ARE DOING THIS READ THIS....GOD WILL PUNISH YOU I PROMISE YOU.  
Why cannot someone with POWER stop these people.  And yes, they are from a different country.  Not sure which country but they sure are not American.  GOD BLESS THE USA......

I got a call from a women from this number 916 4697012 she said I must call attorney Brandon Garbriel 9164698865 he try to tell me I had a case number  and I be recorded be the fbi  he had my ssn part right but in the last 4 he was off  . I called an attorney friend  he said to me he got similar calls .

Someone keeps harassing me daily from this phone number by calling my job and also constantly calling my cell phone. This person is repeatedly making threats to sue me for $150.00 and have me arrested because I had refused to proceed with a cash advance loan that I was routed to, through an online website called moneytoday.com‎. In which I had supplied all my personal information. Now, all my personal information such as my bank account information, home address, my work address, cell phone and work number, social security number, date of birth, and my Identification number; this is everything leading to my identity and is now in the hands of people who are appearing to be frauds.
Today at approximately 8:00AM, I got a call from a man with terrible (hard to understand) broken English, who was telling me I have charges dealing with my social security number and my name. He said his name was Mark and claimed to be from the Attorney General Office of Sacramento.These problems has all started after applying for a loan online. Never give your personal information to a company that is not a well known franchise, you just never know what that company is.

The same thing JUST happened to me!!!  I caled back just to be a jerk and the phone disconnected.....I think it is definitely a scam!

I got the same call today, and they wanted to talk to my manager, can you believe the nerve they have.
I hung up on them, and they called right back 3 times in a row.  they need to be stopped

I received a call from 916-469-7012  and a man with a funny accent told me he was going to send the sheriff to my house because he had issued a warrant for my arrest, when I asked him why, he hung up and then called back, different accent but same number asking me do I want a $3,000 loan, when I said no thanks, he threaten to send the sheriff to my job!! Really? Who are these monsters?

The same thing has happened to me. Today I received a call from a 916-469-7012 asking me if I want a $ 3,000 loan, and when I replied no thanks, he threaten to send to send the sheriff to my house and when I hung up, he calls me back and says that he's going to send the sheriff to my job. Is there anything we can do about this?
