Yeah this is the second time that I have had this happen to me. I was at work and the guy called me a Bit** cause I so called owed this place over 500.00 which I never even heard of. So to get the guy to stop calling I told him to call me on Monday after I get a chance to talk to my lawyer. Well called my attorney and he said call the cops. So I call the sheriffs department and they do a 3 way phone call and he says to the police I'm from a law firm in Colorado when she asked if she could speak to his manager he says that she is not available at this time. then he says to me I hope you have a great time in jail and you deserve everything you have coming to you. then he hung up so she called him back and said I would like to see this warrant you have for her and offered to give the fax number to him but he said that he already had it and that he would send it. The dispatcher goes you wont be able to find it cause its a private number he reply's I will get it. Don't even take these phone calls I really feel bad for the people that actually fall for it. I almost did... I'm sorry but these people are making it hard to trust any Indian people!!!!!!!

Same situation with me. I have been getting up to 30+ calls for the last 2 days from these people. I applied for an online loan several months ago, got rejected and have been harassed ever since from scam callers.  I had NO IDEA what that application was going to do to me.  I want to change my cell phone number but it's tied to my personal business!!! So frustrating!

You CAN'T BLOCK THE NUMBER because it's computer generated and keeps changing!  If you can block numbers based on an area code & prefix combination, I want to know how!

I've gotten over 30+ calls a day from these people. This is harassment.

I got a call today at work from this number. Said that they wanted to speak to my HR because I was about to be fired. I informed him I had caller ID and if continued to call I would have the police go to his office.

Suggestion - contact your HR person.  You never know what lies these scammers will tell them.  You could also direct the HR person to the replies in this thread.

This number calls me and tells me they have charges pending against my social security number. I asked what charges and by whom; he repsonded that he could not tell me any more information.   I informed him since he could not give me any more information, don't call me again.  He calls my job and my cell phone over and over again every day.  Today when he called, I told him I was reporting him to my Security Office.  This man speaks broken English with a heavy accent.  He has called me 3 times on my work phone and 2 times on my cell phone today.

Got the same call, only he said he was Sr Attorney Edward Marshall from Attorney General Office in CA. Said there were 3 charges of Fraud against me but wouldn't tell me who filed them, just said it was for a loan. Told him I never applied for one. He said that I could settle out of court or be arrested. I told him to mail me proof of the debt before I would agree to pay for anything. He said he was warning me before I was arrested, I then told him if cops were going to arrest they wouldn't war me, they'd just do it. To which he replied Then you will be arrested and hung up on me. I called him back, telling him to mail me proof that I applied and i owe money, he said fine and hung up. I called the CA Attorney General office and they confirmed what I already knew, which is that it's a scam! I already informed my boss in case he tries to call saying I will be arrested, I just wonder if they're sending the police from CA to arrest me, since that's a long drive to IL lol

I got the same kall.all scams.i had the same kall 6/7 years ago basically i had to put my social on fraud alert
