How are we supposed to know if you give no information other than a phone number???

he (tom white) is so annoying. i missed 200 calls from this idiot. its a scam guys

This number called my work number and never gave his name, stated they were from the District Attorney in CA and they had an arrest warrent for a bill I did not pay.  First of all, I pay all of my bills.  I watch my credit and have it set for alerts, if I owed anyone, I would know.  Once I told him that, and hung up on him he became nasty and started yelling at me and telling me he would call me and proceeded to call me 9 more time after that.

They are still at it and I would be very careful.

This [***] keeps calling my work saying he is from the legal office, as soon as I told him no your not he became irrate.... SCAM

They keep calling my phone and my job saying that there's a legal case against my name and social number. I told them I didn't care and they said they would send the police to my address. It's s scam.

This guy called my work and said he was with the State of California and there was a lawsuit pending against me. He said his name was Roy Wells and spoke with a middle eastern accent.  When I called him back to figure out what was going on, he asked me for my social.  When I refused to give it to him until he told me more details, he hung up.  

I received a call at work from this number from a "Robin". Obvious Indian accent, said he was from the "State Attorney". Before he could get further I cut him off and told him I was not allowed to take personal calls at work. Its against the law for debt collectors to call you at work if you inform them that your work does not allow personal calls. It's also against the law for them to represent themselves as some sort of law enforcement agency. You can report debt collectors to the FTC.

No. A debt collector may not contact you at inconvenient times or places, such as before 8 in the morning or after 9 at night, unless you agree to it. And collectors may not contact you at work if they’re told (orally or in writing) that you’re not allowed to get calls there.

This person has been calling me for days.  Yesterday he called me 40 times.   When I told him that I'm on the do not call registry he became threatening saying he was going to have me arrested unless I listened to what he had to say.  This is a scam.  I did report it to the FTC.

They called me 10 times in 5 minutes.  Saint there is a block on my ss#. It's funny how they don't even get my number right.  Lol. They just wake up to scam people.  

Peter Gabriel contacted my job and threatening me. There number is 916-469-8680. I don't know what they are talking about. When I tried to get there information rude and hung up. They are out of Sacramento California .

A man (Indian accent-seems to be the common thread throughout these complaints) asking for a person that no longer works here. He said he works for the State Attorney General's office & there is an ongoing investigation for fraud on this persons social security number.  When I asked if he had any paperwork signed by this person authorizing me to release information to this man he said no but he would fax me a request on their letterhead.  I told him it didn't matter what he sent me. If it wasn't signed the former employee, I wouldn't respond.  He said he'd fax me. Of course nothing came over the fax but not ten minutes later, he called our office again & spoke to our Office Manager who couldn't understand a word he was saying & ended up hanging up on him. No doubt he will call again. Our company is reporting him to the FTC for fraud, misrepresentation,illegal tactics by impersonating a governing body of the state of California.

Applied for loan on internet and they tell me iam approved what me to sent them money to verify I can pay the money today I keep getting a call saying from states attorney in california and said I got a case againest me

Corection on my post they wanted me to send them 100 dallars on a card or western union they, also said they had a claim against me for cyber fraud keep getting these calls different numbers donot know what to do

Tells you in a Heavy Indian accent that his name is "John Davis." Says he's from an attorneys office and claims I'm to be arrested within 30 minutes if I don't provide him me personal information and pay the legal fines. FRAUD, FRAUD, FRAUD!!

They called saying they were with the California State Dept. I quickly googled the number and the word scam came out from the search. When I told the person on the phone that he was a scammer, he said he googled me and said I was a scammer. I hung up on the person.

I googled the numberfound out it was a scamand proceeded to have a lot of fun with themI received 15 phone calls in a two hour spanand beat them at their own gameI plan on calling this number every time I get a chance they are annoying but I am retired and have a lot of time on my hands
