Keep getting calls saying its attorney generals office, yet when I call back he just answers "hello". No company name

Keep calling my cell & work. Asked to talk to a manager or Supervisor & they hung up.

If it really was the Attorney Generals Office, they would have much more professional phone manors. Scam!

Do not send them any money. They are worthless individuls who are worst then scum and yet want to live in america and live as an american yet cant get an honest job. They want to steal from us! The united states citizen. they shall burn in hell for all eternity.

Yeah I had to call the cops on these dumbasses today. This Haji left me a long voicemail trying to use some kinda scare tactic to get me to cooperate with him or else I could face 9 years in prison. So tomorrow I have the day off....and I will be calling him all day just to piss him off.

False accusations.

This guy called me 5 times in 5 minutes. I told him to stop calling with his BS accusations. The last time he called I told him I was calling the cops and he hung up.

keep getting harrassing phone calls saying there is a case against me and that they are going forward info and make me lose my job. The caller says he is from attorney generals office. I have never done anything illegal in my life.

I received 2 voicemails from Eric Johnson stating he was from the attorney generals office as well, he has been trying to get a hold of me for 2 days. He even went as far as calling on my desk phone? He said that I had legal issues and recited the last 4 numbers of my social security number.  He said that if i didnt have an attorney, i needed to contact his  senior attorney Thomas Lynch regarding this matter because the criminal matter was going to court today.  When he gave me the number to contact the senior attorney, it was exactly the same number he was calling from 916-469-8864?  When i informed him of that, he began to studder and gave me 916-469-8869, and stated that i need to call immediately as soon as i hung up.  SCAM!!!! I didnt call anyone, this has happened to me once before, so i googled it....thank you for posting your experience, it confirmed my suspicion and hope my post helps someone else.

They keep calling and have some information I have no idea how they got it. They say I have a law suit against me but they wont give anymore info. They told me to call this number and ask for George whoever. They have called like ten times in fifteen minutes. I have asked them to mail me info on said law suit and I get the run around. It would be nice if they had someone who spoke English well as this person didn't. He has been getting more and more rude on the calls. Yelling telling me to call this number... Not sure what is up but I will not send any money to them. I have called the number they just put me on hold. and when I call back it just says voice mail box full.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I just got the same call and they same the same thing. sounds like they are reading from a scrip. when you call the number back it just rings and then goes to voicemail.

SCAM ALERT!!!  They apparently got ALL information from one of the many companies that claim to protect our privacy information.  They called my desk number claiming to be OAG of CA, left a voice message saying call back immediately, case going to court and left the last four of my social.  I returned the call to 916-469-8869 and the recording said that the mailbox is full.  NO WAY that would happen at the OAG!

Oh, and I agree with previous statements, these are some dumb@$$ people who do not speak english well....if I could just get the opportunity to speak with them they would never call me again!

They are calling harassing me saying I owe them money! They are fraudsters. Very nasty very mean. They won't give us their information.

I called the cops on them today as well. And called them saying I was doing so and that it was fake. He kept saying "OMG who told you this". Have you received any more calls since then?
