I asked them to put me on the DNC list and he told me no he could not do that and he would call me later

I recieved a call from this number, saying he was with the FBI and to contact him immediatly, and if I did not then good luck, I was going to jail.

Just had a call from this number.  Namde I'd is John Evaston.  If they don't talk right away, I hang up, so did not speak with him.  Have do not call.  Seems as if calls from scammers are more numerous.  Getting a call blocker....

one thing Microsoft dose not call you . unless you own them money or ask to be called .

Received a call from this number. They left no message. There was no identity other than the numbers.

the person claimed they were receiving messages from my computer identifying a threatening virus. They claim they represent Microsoft. They wanted to scan my computer.I gave them an earful inadvertently. I picked up a second phone to put the call on speaker and phones cause a terrible squeak that would have been deafening to anybody with headphones.

Today when they called the guy said he was "Frank" from Windows Tech Support" and I asked "The caller ID says 'John Evaston' who is that?" and he said "no this is Frank from Windows Tech Support." I said "yes, you said that, but who is John Evaston?" "My name is FRANK." "The caller ID says 'John Evaston' so I would like to know who or what that is." So he says "You would like to speak to someone named John?" After about 5 more attempts, he puts me on hold and comes back and says some weird story of how they used to be located in New York and now they are located in Connecticut State so that is why there is a New York number that says 'John Evaston' and I'm just like "ohhhhhkaaaaaay." hahahaha so stupid.

please be careful when you stereotype on a public forum. I know some middle eastern men who are quite the gentleman... many men of many cultures are bigots.

I keep getting a call from this number as well. They dont leave a message and when I call back it want go through from my cell. I think its a scam.

Got a call from the same number.

Third time the "John Evaston" has called.  I finally picked up the phone.  Probably of Asian background based on accent. Wanted to help me with some sort of problem with my computer.  I told him to not call again.  If he does, the number is blocked. Obviously a scam.

I told them that obesa giving out free ass Whoopings and the guy said he didnt want one and i said you Don't care.

Also watch out for calls from the same number from John Rosewell.  Some of the Apple customer care is out of India, and maybe these guys got the number through the call center there.  It's bothersome, but why not have fun with them. Go ahead and tell them that they're right, and that you just don't care.  Or tell them that you are a computer engineer with Cisco, Apple or Mircosoft, and see if they ask you for help getting a job.  If you know another language, speak to them in it:  Czech, French, Spanish, Russian etc.  Ask them if they're willing to donate to your favorite charity.  Offer them terms. Ask for their credit card number.  Tell them that you see that they're calling from Brooklyn and that you used to live there, and then ask them about their favorite restaurants there. Mess with them.

I have had 2 calls from these people.  I told them both times I am not interested.  I wish they would stop calling me.

got the same call download current caller id or put them on a block list. by law if you tell them to put you on no call list they have to stop calling your or be sued etc. though isnt worth the hastle and is best to block the number.

I am on the do not call list this number is being set up for fraud

I have a direct line to police dept so they can listen and 're cord there messages ages

I just received a call from John as well. He told me my computer needs to be fixed. I responded that he was a scammer and to stop calling me. Is there a way to report these scammers?
