With a very thick accent, caller stated he knew my personal medical issues and mentioned one to discuss. "I know you have this disease…"  A bit frightening

there was no talking but I have been getting strange calls lately...

received a call from this # today and they tried to get a call back by using stating another name on the voice mail An Anthony Johnson ,and there is no one here by that name. When I called them back to tell them that they all of sudden broke out my name and I also told them that there is no one here by that name either. So, beware of them leaving message for a false name on your voicemail!! A**holes!

Got a call from a man with a south-east asian accent. Said he was from "windows technical support." He said that a computer with a "windows operating system" in my home was sending out packets of information and that he wanted to help me.

No windows machines here, but of course I only told him that I knew he was a scammer and that I was reporting him to the police.

We have excellent credit ratings and no issues there so I don't have a clue as to what this was about.

Got a call from this number today.  A women said she was with Microsoft and I started to ask questions, she hung up.

Got a call a few minutes ago telling me I won some grand prize vacation (with an accent of course). I told him I don't believe him or the company he said he represented. He tried interupting, but I didn't let him. Said no thanks and hung up.

Got this call at work, promoting a Student Loan program.
Obviously somebody is spoofing this phone # for a number of scams

Got a call from this number last night. A man with a heavy foreign accent tried the "you have a problem with a windows operating system" and I needed to go log on. I asked what computer he was talking about and he hung up. Total scam!

I received a call today from 917-268-9953 telling me that this was my final warning, the IRS was "filing law suit against me" to call 360-244-4305 for more information. It is a scam, I don't owe the IRS money.
