dead air for a few second and then it connected to someone named Ben from some Home Security place (did fully catch it, the connection wasn't very good). As soon as I mentioned I was on the "Do Not Call List" he hung up before I could say anything else, so I'm not sure if he was telemarketing or trying to do a survey.

Home Security Group, also hung up as soon as I asked how he got my number and that it is on the Do not call list.

Two calls this evening. First time a brief sound then disconnected. Second time no voice and dead in about 5 seconds.

Did not answer it , but googled it because it was unknown.

Missed the call, no message left.

Received unwanted solicitation call from Home Security Group.  I guess the Do not call list is a joke.  Does anyone even check out these companies to fine them for violating the law??

Ben called me too...and i hung up on ben...if you are reading this...f u ben. I am on the do not call list aswell!

Received a sales call from a security company.  Before he could state his business, I asked him if it was a sales call.  He said "no" and then launched into a sales call.  I called him a few well deserved names and hung up.

Home Security Group. Same deal as everyone says. Asked how he got my number, said from an online retailer and he would transfer me to someone who would remove it, hung up. Call back from another unknown number. Dead air, hang up.

Agreed, my number has been on the Do Not Call list for quite some time now. So these people have no regard for it apparently

Picked up, no answer.

Called my cell phone. I picked up and said hello. Dead air, a beep and then silence.

Called me as well.  I just reported it on the National Do Not Call Registry.  I suggest you all do the same!
