Called me at 6pm. Took the survey out of curiousity, they said I would get a $100 gift certificate at the end. At the end it says "Carribbean Cruiselined would like to double your gift certificate to $200!" Blah Blah Blah. Just wants more information about you etc. Probably a scam. Not sure.

Just received a call from this number yesterday. It came through to my work phone (AT&T) around 2 p.m. Since I didn't recognize the number, I didn't pick up - but no message was left. After reading this thread, I called back and pressed "1" to opt out of future calls. Hopefully that works!

It's probably an automated system that is testing possible times when a real human being will pick up the phone. If I had picked up to listen to the recording, a telemarketer would know that at 2 p.m., I was available to answer and would have called back on a later date at the same time. Blah. Should be illegal.

Normally get the call with the ID of "Service Message", but this time it said CNSM RCH, which looks like an abbreviation for "Consumer Riches" to me, so I didn't answer. I'm to the point of just deciding that if they think their message is that important, they can leave me a message with a valid number on which to call back. My phone belongs to me, not to them, and I'm tired of having to fight this stuff, so I'll just use my phone for talking to the people I WANT to hear from. Sorry to the real survey people, 'cause I used to do that job, and it was legitimate, but because the DO NOT CALL list does not apply to survey companies, these scamming telemarketers now tell you they're doing surveys to get away with calling everyone. Criminals always find ways around the law, don't they?

BTW, started getting a boatload of calls right after registering a netbook with Sony. I mean, within a day, I had about 10 calls where I normally get 2-3, and this lasted for about a week. I don't think I'll shop with Sony again.

Going back thru caller ID and realized these people also use the name HEALTH BENEFITS with a variety of numbers. They called on the 11th with the number 918-442-0828. They must have a variety of numbers and names just to see which one will make people pick up. More reason to only talk to friends and family. Sorry for the legitimate companies whose businesses are being rejected because of the scammers. Maybe the legit groups will pull together to stop them since the consumer complaints to the FCC don't seem to be getting anywhere.

This is from Carnival Cruise Lines. Calls my place of business no less than 4 to 5 times in the day, then another 4 times in the evening. When you call back to be removed they will call 3 times after. This is harassment and don't know how to get them to stop

I saw this on my office caller ID when I returned from a lunch break.  No message, so I called back, and it says it is no longer a working number.  Weird...it just called me.

Received a call from this number on my verizon cell phone today.  Hung up as soon as they said they would transfer me for an important message.

I guess the telemarketing government regulations do not apply to them or are not enforced. Well at lease I got a sexy female voice to press 1 if I did not wish to receive any future calls and to please allow up to 72 hours to be removed.  It is 6:40 PM central time, 12/14/2010 and counting down. I'll keep you guys informed.

Just got called from this number...    From Tulsa, OK... said it was an automated voice (after a LONG pause...) then it said that I would be transferred to ....  I hung up.  I recieved this on my cell phone.

The name of the company was services or surveys something....

I received a call from this number (918-442-0768) and received a buzz as with a fax.  I hung -up.  My FAX machine came on but then went off.  I'm sure because I disconnected by hanging-up.

Got call at work number, didn't answer, no message left.

If you call this number back and press 1 it takes you off the call list for "Special Promotion."  Whatever those are...
