got call today -lady spoke said she was calling for Voltaire Survey-----took several hellos for her to speak---told her people she was asking for was not in

Received a call from  :    919-439-4534

Caller ID shows  :   UNKNOWN

   Received a call from a (FEMALE) stating she was doing a "Marketing Survey". Who she
was looking, was not present. She stated she would call back and then hung up.....

I researched the number and then called it back, and requested my phone number be removed
from their list......

I am registered on the....."DO NOT CALL LIST"

Called my mobile, nobody on the line. But in the meantime my phone 'mysteriously' brought up world clock on the screen. Might be the new phone update or possibly something more sinister.

I have people calling me, for a person with the same name, who used to live in my town, now they google the guy's name and my info comes up, and once you square it with one of these scum bags, they sell it to another, and it just goes on and on.  I not only get phone calls for this guy, I also receive his bills in the mail, to include his child support invoices, collection agencies, and even correspondence from the IRS.  However, its the phone calls that bother me the most, they call at all hours of the day and night.

I have found the answer to all these annoying calls, it's called the Call Blocker, and it works great. I was looking for the solution to these phone calls, for years, and this is the best solution I have found yet. I bought mine on ebay, and it works like a champ.

I received 4 calls within minutes of each other and a message was left. This is a North Carolina prefix. The number turned out to be GA DFCS Protective Services calling.

Is there a way we can collectively eliminate the annoying,
frustrating telemarketers? They have no respect for the law
or privacy of the citizens..Calls to home,business/cell phones.
Many times,the caller don't respond..Likely,they dial; the numbers
at random..Really sick and tired...Any ideas...please...

As of this date/time legitimate, solicited, business calls from isp bandwidth.com do originate from this number.

It's unclear if it is concurrently being used for other purposes or if its being spoofed.

Also, bandwidth.com is a VoIP supplier, so its possible that some of this companies numbers have been abused by their subscribers.

After hiatus, calls restarting. No answer when I picked up as it was a local call.
