Received the blue post card with the final notice today in American Canyon. I did receive the first attempt as well a few weeks back but not the second attempt. Just ignoring it because it’s a scam. Surprising how many scams come through the mail when you first purchase a home.

Same as others here...received the parcel card with the "final notice" checked when I never received the first one.  I'm glad I checked this site.  I called after hours to see if the number will mention the company's name, but it didn't, but they got my number saved from that "missed call", so they called me today.  The lady who called me was asking me about my parcel # so they can ship my "welcome packet".  I told her, that the house is brand new and I have not given my address to anyone, how come you have it and who are you?" She immediately told me that they are from Aqua Pro and they always ship a "welcome packet" to new residences.  She kept talking none stop and I told her that I didn't have the parcel number (because I shredded it the same day I got it, I stunk like SCAM all the way) and she said that most likely, i will be receiving another card.  I told her I didn't want anything from them and she got mad, and told me that if I receive another card, I could call them and let them know so they can put me on a "DO NOT CONTACT" list.  I started to get frustrated with this person, who was not polite and kept talking over me, bad customer service in general and I said "I'm telling you right now, please remove me from your contact list" and hung up on her.

Received blue post care stating Parcel Tracking Notice and to call this number,  final notice of parcel delivery attempt.  Called number, no answer or recorder/recording.  Decided to look up number, appears to be a scam.

I called after getting mine and it is a ‘welcome to the neighborhood gift’ by a water company Aqua Pro. They want you to choose what gift card and sign up for who knows what else. No identifier on the postcard and I had to interrupt the operator to inquire who the gift was from.

As to whether the test kit was real or not, it does not really matter as the results are always the same.  Your water is horrible, terrible, and drinking, cooking, or bathing in it would be like drinking cyanide.  Of course their overpriced, useless water treatment/filtration system they sell will give you crystal clear, water that is 100% safe.  Pretty much all hogwash.  If you think that your water is unsafe you should contact a reputable plumber in the area for a free test, and no long hard sell sales pitch.

I received this on 3/5/18 I called and spoke with a girl who couldn’t get the words out correctly she was stumbling and tripping over her own words. Without thinking twice I agreed to set up an appointment for the free water testing and they offered $25 gift card and a few other things the guy showed up to my house and when I didn’t answer the door a number called 916-629-0016 and the girl said he was at the door for our appointment I answered the door and told him my boyfriend got called into work if we could reschedule he seemed nervous and awkward. Didn’t think to much about it until now. Glad I found this post a lot of them seem about a year or more old so I hope this post can stop anyone else from letting these people in your home. “Aqua Pro” is the company. I can’t believe I believed this for the time I did!

Received a pink postcard in the mail with a phone number stating I have a parcel package.  I then called the number and while I was on hold, i read the comments.  You think this is a scam, but it's not; it's a welcoming package with a gift card from the city I moved to.  They want to check your water pressure to help save you water.

Following up on my previous note, this card is definitely a solicit.  The operator told me that it would only take 15 minutes of my time to do a water test, but when the rep arrived, he told me it would take a good hour.  We first rescheduled it to not defend him, and then the next morning called back the number and told them that we was not interested.

Received pink card final notice, no info about where it came from aside from the phone number and the fact it was sent using stamps.com. Most definitely a scam, I would throw the card away.

The operator told me it’s a welcome card and free water inspection for some water purifiers. They wanted to send a person to my place and kept insisting my husband be there too. She kept asking that we are both there when they give us the water consultation. How uncomfortable. This is a scam.

They need both people there to sign the contract.  That way, if you do not pay them and there is only one signature they cannot really do anything.  However if you both sign, they can sue you and then put a lien on your property or use whatever other means the law allows for collection from both of you.
