The FTC is very well aware of the problem:  Just yesterday there was a long news item from a major news agency about the fact that the FTC can't do anything right now about spoofed calls, because of the limitation of their own technology.  There is a growing movement by some Senators and Congressmen/women to have pressure put on telephone companies to protect their subscribers from this abuse.  It's not easy to solve.  But the authorities are aware of it, and while I too have been suffering from this same thing for months now, I am sure that in time they'll find a solution.

Once a day, every day - totally UNWANTED calls from this robo call number. How do I block it?

10sec voice mail says "1000 dollars on grocery savings coupons...."

I just  called  the ftc.gov and told them I get this 936-495-8708 TX number calling everyday yes the senior  meesage, when I finally  decided  to hit one to talk to a supervisor  they hung up! I called back and the number is no longer available  how if they keep  calling me and I went through  my phones memory  this number comes up with different  Texas cities ftc.gov says it's a scam, hope they do something  soon glad I am not the  only ones getting this call !! And I am 46! Ugh!

It's a scam call.  The scammers ignore all US laws. They ignore DNC.   Call blocker might be some help.

Selling some type of medical alert system - calls (minimally) on a weekly basis.  I am on the do not call registry (which is worthless)

I am repeatedly receiving unwanted calls from this number.  I have requested multiple times that I be removed from their calling list.  My requests have gone unheeded.   I have even tried to call the number back to request removal.  When I do,  I get a recording that indicates this number has been changed or is not a working number.  How can that be?  They keep calling me, but I can't call them back to get removed from their calling list?

Just one question: Why do you keep answering and asking them to take you off their list, when you know they won't?

By calling back (in fact, even by answering in the first place) you've gotten your number tagged as "live," so they or their crook buddies will continue to call you.. until you stop answering and stop trying to call them back.

Called three times in the last week and does not leave a message.

call said the call was for a senior who had been referred for a medical alert - I pressed a number and waited for 2 minutes before a male named Jamie answer and I asked the name of the company - Endless medical alert - he asked who he was talking to and I said you called this number - who do you want to speak to - he again asked who he was talking to and I said you called me - I ask the questions - he hung up

This no. called my cell phone just now. Tried to call it back but was told it was no longer in service.

Abusive robo calls from 936-495-8708 to my phone, 978-251-8989.  Cannot get off the list.

Time to get these scam artists. Criminals every last one of them. Someone out there knows where these scum bags live - round them up, tar and feather them to bankruptcy and run them out of town!! Hit them hard and often where it hurts - in their pocket books. Strip them clean of everything in court. You attorneys out there - class action law suit. Can you smell the big bucks?!? Once destitute and behind bars, recovering from the hot tar and the humiliation in court, big ol' bubba will bend them over and give it-to-them-good as they deserve.
