They call and do not say anything.

These calls are annoying, they never say anything or leave a message as to who is calling and for what.  I have a very sick relative with Stage 4 Cancer, and whoever is calling from the above number day and night is to say the least annoying.

called randomly, don't know who it is.

nobody speaks, with father who has had a stroke and the calls are annoying,they wake him by calling my cell  or call when his is getting medical attention.

I got a call from this number...caller ID said " California Call" and the caller said something about lowering the electric bill. I hung up, called back and got a different woman and it was about solar energy of some sort. I had a call earlier in the month from an 805 area code and the guy says something similar..
Looks like they have not gone from lowering the credit card interest rate, and mortgage rate and even diabetic outfits to Green Energy  that was how the call began when I answered..green energy..so another number goes into my blocked list of numbers on my phone..that helps a lot..yeah the phone rings once but I can see that it is a checkered call and even if I picked up the phone there is no one there...

Just got ANOTHER CALL. I have requested 7 times that my number be removed. They refuse.

Why do calls like this come through when I have signed up on the Do Not Call List?

Because the NCL doesn't stop calls from "coming through" -- it's not like a universal block is put on your phone or something (Not sure how that would work).  The reputable telemarketers (there are still a few) observe it scrupulously, but criminals and scammers couldn't care less about it. And, there a lot of calls to which it doesn't apply -- charities, politicians, legitimate surveys, organizations with which you've previously does business, etc.

I was getting a lot of calls from these jack-[***]. I finally just added them to my phone list as '[***]' and then I was able to add it to the blocked calls list.

I answered call--told them ta "go away and get a life and a job, despite the repugs they support"

Plase remove my phone number from your calling lists Both your own and other's associated with yopur business what ever it is.  I'm not interested.

I keep getting calls too. They don't say anything. I blocked on my home and cell lines..

My number is on the do not call list, and they keep calling and refuse to stop.
