Sarah, who sounds like a lovely person, called and said my student loan debt has been flagged for forgiveness. That would be wonderful, but I was a college and graduate student back in the 80s and haven't had any student debt for a long time. Of course, she didn't mention who she was calling on behalf of, but what difference would that make?

I received a call from 251-255-1531 but they left the number 949-298-2131 to call back for student loan forgiveness. Well, now the stupid voicemail will not delete off of my phone!!!! I have never had a problem deleting voicemails from my phone. The VM stated it was someone named Sara. UGH! I am so sick of this mess.

Caller ID was 239 230-1700 from Florida, but voicemail was "Hello, this is Sarah, I wanted to inform you that your student loans (which I have none) have been flagged for forgiveness. This is your final notice blah, blah, blah so call now to secure your spot. You can reach me or one of my collegues at 949-298-2131,  thank you and we look forward to scamming you.

Sarah left a voice mail offering student loan help. The phone didn’t ring. Went straight to VM. I paid off my student loans 30 years ago.

Called from 210-405-1555. Student loan malarkey. Message said to call the 949-298-2131 back.

Another scam call. Aargh. A real person left voice message, Amy, saying they can reduce my “student loan debt”.  Lol. I never had a student loan and if I did it would have been paid off by now. 40 yrs since college degree. To bad I didn’t go into law. I would love to sue these idiots!!

Scam! Got the same exact script as posted below about lowering payment on student debt. Unfortunately with all the new transparency laws any universities or anything that you applied to have to release this information as public record and it puts everybody at more risk for fraud. My question is since it’s on record why aren’t the people that can do something about this doing anything about it?

Scam call, my student loans are paid off
