these F'ers call a lot, I would like to strangle them

They are the scum of the earth. It is a message and you hold on and a person (POS) comes on and tries to sell you health insurance. How do you stop these PHUCKERS?

They called me during school I didn't recognize the number so I just ignored it so they would think that I was not around my phone so they don't call again

First they would just call and leave no message. Then they start leaving messages stating they have package and that I need to call to reschedule a time or them to deliver a package??  They call a minimum of 4 times a day.

Caller id was LOCAL.  Called back and got a really bad recording of a recording for not in service.  Morons.  I think N***R*** got it.  It called right after a robocall for google ad scammer.  Connected??

I have received numerous calls from this phone number, which has a recorded message wanting to sell me health insurance. This is a work number they are calling, and the quantity of calls is very disruptive. I have stayed on the line to ask the person to remove my name from the call list and they just hang up

Getting these calls for the last month relentlessly. Just block the number and you're set.

50 calls yesterday, 3 within 5 minutes this morning.  This # also is connected  to 512-859-3827.  Comes up as "local" (I live in area code 520).  I've asked to be taken off their list, I've called the number (the 512 says not a legitimate number), the other allows you to put in your number to be taken off the list, then 2 minutes later they call you back.  The last SOB actually said he's going to call me 100 times a day just because I got mad at him.  Says he's a legitimate business that he'd like to see me try to have them investigated when they don't have a legitimate number or name.  I answer my phone because this is also a business line.  They are interfering with a REAL business.  There's got to be a way to make them stop!

Business lines do not qualify to be protected by the Federal Do Not Call provisions.

Suggestion:
Either recognize the incoming number, and quickly go off-hook then on-hook,
OR
Investigate call blockers for the type of phone system you have.  If you have a "single line" system, there are MANY call blocker options!

SCAM  Caller ID: Unavailable. Picked-up, got recording selling insurance. Pressed 1, got real person, I said PLTHHHH and hung-up. I called back and got  "# not in service". SCAM

Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.  There’s  no way to stop the calls from being initiated.
