Did you not read the post you replied to? She clearly stated "threatening me" so why would you think he (whoever he is) is offering to pay her for anything?

I got a random text from this number, claiming his name is Sam and he got my number from an “exclusive partner” who wants to remain anonymous (ok, sketchy  much?). Said he works for a record label and offered an job for me to act as a fan in a concert, and that I’ll be paid and reimbursed for my tickets (hmmm, so I have to put money upfront for this so-called “job”). When I asked for name of said record label and why his “exclude partner” wants to remain anonymous, he refused to tell me. Sounds like a scam. Blocked the number.

Also got a text offering to pay $$ to go to a concert. Asked for more information, was told I'd be paid either by Venmo Zelle or Cash App, wanted me to text "conformations" of the ticket purchase. When I asked for their e-mail so I could look out for it they told me "don't be slick," lol. Unsure if legit or just aggressive.

So what is the scam?  Other than them not paying you?  You still get to go to the concert don't you?  I also find it amazing that the first 5 posts in this thread were so very vague and now we have two people within the last two days posting almost the same story.

I have to wonder how bad the performer is if they need to pay people to attend their concert.

Unless this is someone nobody has ever heard of and they want to somehow catapult them into a hot commodity.  I can't find a company by that name.  There is a "Trust Records" that handles lots of punk rock and hardcore music (whatever hardcore music is) but I don't think that it is the same outfit.  Most of those bands seem to play smaller venues.

I was contacted twice by this number through texts. One was Baka and the other was Sam. Same content that the others had posted. Totally a scam with the lack of professionalism with how they were responding to me. Instead of full words it was like thx, u, ic. I couldn't find any concerts on the date they provided (Dec 16) for the artist they told me it was for. The artist mentioned was @drmaleek.
Baka said he was from OVO Sound Records and Sam just said a recording label.
Don't fall for this. It's terrible. There's even a craigslist posting for it.

I doubt that person got scammed, since the venue isn't until Dec, according to the advertisement. The ad seems sketchy, but plausible. The worst that could happen seems to be you would have bought a $20 ticket and not receive the promised money for your trouble.
The ad states they will provide a Contract the day you attend, so that makes it plausible. If you read the ad, you might understand better.
I think people posting here are just giving their opinions about it, as until Dec, you won't know if you were scammed or not.
Here is the advertisement. Click the link, as I am not trying to promote it.
