- Shake| 3 repliesI can confirm this is not a scam.. they actually bought me an extra ticket out of their own money. They aren’t foreign either. Wow I was suspicious slightly but now I’m more trusting of the person vs the ridiculous ananoymous usernames people are writing responses under

- MikeHuntleton replies to ShakeAh, monitoring the thread I see. You don't have to pretend to be a different user, we know you are "Jeff"
FYI, shilling will only get you more negative publicity for the scam. - BigA replies to ShakeGreat! So how about telling us who you are going to see on Dec. 9th and where the venue is? You can do that since you now have a free ticket!

- Rae| 4 replies“Sam” called me for paid audience work for a concert. I regularly work as a paid audience member in LA, so I assumed this was legit. He even called me on the phone to “explain more details” and was super kind day 1. Then he said I needed to buy the tickets (which is never the case in paid audience work) and I’d get the contract once I got to the concert. When I delayed a few hours buying the ticket because something felt off to me, he started being wildly rude and unprofessional. When I expressed that I was just worried this was a scam because he couldn’t even tell me what company he worked for, he really unhinged calling me a “lying a$$ trick”, and saying things like “go slave don’t wait my time” and “back to the plantation”.
This is either a) a scam, or b) a sketchy business with incredibly rude employees. Either way, I want nothing to do with them! Keep yourself safe from scams y’all, don’t let them bully you or kitchen-sink you into thinking you’re the crazy one. They’re the ones taking advantage of people when the whole
country is struggling to survive financially after a global pandemic. They obviously have few morals.- Caller: Sam

- Tygerkat replies to Rae| 3 replies"kitchen-sink you"?!
- MikeHuntleton replies to Tygerkat| 2 repliesA "kitchen sink" mentality is when someone does not think about what they do. Never heard anyone use it in that context, but it is in essence what scammers do to their victims when they bombard them with constant instructions and/or false reasoning, not allowing them time to think clearly.
- Tygerkat replies to MikeHuntleton| 1 replyYa learn something new every day. Thanks for the explanation, Mike.
- BigA replies to TygerkatMe too, I don't think that I have ever heard that term either.
