These people are also known as Worldwide Recovery.  They have a new enforcer named Don Terry.  They have been harrassing someone close to me for months.  They have called friends, family, employers.  They divulged to a third party a supposed debt, who it was to, how much, what was supposed to be bought, etc. All illegal.  They don't follow the statute of limitations.  My trick?  Get them flustered and upset by not answering any questions or giving out any info.  They will hang up on you first.  Gee, I hope my friends wife does not find out about me since they are calling everyone he knows.  AND its all illegal. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!

Called knowing my first name in regards to people I don't know with some case number regarding my address.

Received a call this morning at my residence asking about a third party (not me). I told "Eusinia" that the questions she was asking were none of her business and unless the matter directly concerned me to refrain from contacting me again.  Advised her she was breaking the law, which prompted her to get beligerent and hostile.

After 23 years in law enforcement, I thought I had seen every type of bottom feeder until I ran into this outfit (this is the second call from them within the past 6 months).  These folks are more vile than street thugs preying on the elderly.  If I didn't have better things to do with my time, I'd personally serve her and her ilk.  However, I now have their address and will pay a visit my next time to the Southland.

This grl named Samantha has been calling my family members looking for me saying that they want to sue me a debt that is over 8yrs ago!

If you call that number she picks up by saying "yes or hello". When I asked her "why do u pick up the phone without saying the company's name? right away she puts me on hold and finds someone else to talk to me.

They will not stop calling me or my family! I do not kow what to do to stop them....

Call in reference to David Luco and it was Dean Perry calling.  Gave me a file# and stated something in reference to my address.  "Dean" said that I needed to return the phone call that evening.  Glad I checked the company name out B4 I called back.

Dean Perry from Coast Mitigation called and said my son owed a debt.  My son had previously called them and they said it was for something he didn't owe. They said he owes money.  I told them to send certified mail proving the debt.  He didnt' think he needed to do that.  I asked them to remove me from their calling list and not to call me again.  I then called him back to inform him that I would report them to the BBB because of all the info I looked up on the intranet about their company.

Keep getting calls on my answering machine for the last week from Dean at Coast Mitigation. He is calling from 949 812-4689. He gives a file number to refer to if I am to return the call. He states that this is regards to the property for which I live at. Since my property which I reside is leased there should be no good reason for them to contact me without my property manager's permission..this was a dead give-away that this call is not pertinent to me. I looked up the return number and the name of the company on the internet and it has been revealed that these individuals at this company are scammers. I have reported in the past such scammers to the Federal Trade Commission and the BBB. I always look up the mumbers and area code in the computer before returning any calls I am not familiar with. Once I report the bogus callers to the authorities, I am told that it takes approximately six months for the number to be blocked or the scamming company notified to cease and desist. Until such time, I am on "machine" for ALL calls which allows me to monitor all incoming calls. Once they get your number.....you are on speed dial until they are stopped. The only saving grace is....they are paying for the call...and you are not. Possibly you may want to pick up and leave the receiver off the hook. If they want to get in touch ligit they can mail you such correspondences rather than do it verbally. This way you can put it in the trash where it belongs if it is a scam.

claimed to have filed lawsuit.  refused to provide any information.  when pressed for information, would hang up the phone.

"Yesenia" called and said they had a summons for me for debt collection. I called back and they transfered me to "Vasquez" and he said I had a CC debt from years back (I never had a CC with the bank he's referring to). He had no proof, no statements, no signed receipts of mine, no anything, just kept telling me I owed them money and kept telling me to check my credit report. When I said I never had the CC he got hostile and I hung up on him. Now they have my number and call me everyday, I don't answer the phone and will now report them to BBB and authorities. Obviously this is a company who just calls until they get a live person, then they have a script they follow to say you owe money and rebuttals if you object to what they are telling you. They try to scare you enough that you'll pay them something, anything over the phone. Don't fall for it!

My sister-in-law, who lives in another state and whom I have not seen or visited in over 10 years called me today to let me know that a Kristin and a Dean Perry called her with Coast Mitigation.  They addressed her by her first name, and left a message for me, in regards to HER property address and a reference # and that she needed to call back before the end of the day.  I have NEVER provided her name and phone #'s to anyone.  There is only one common link, and that is she had made hotel reservations for me when I visted her earlier this year and provided her local information with my address to hold the reservation.  When I checked in, I gave them all of my info, and as of current, I have not been contacted directly.  I will be contacting the State Attorney General's office in the state I reside in and have told her to do the same and provide the info to them. Anyone have a similar situation????

I got a call from this harmless moron 6 months ago and confronted him with his scam and then cussed him and his ancestors far beyond the one celled pond scum that he is. I just got another call from him and I plan to invite him here to collect what he thinks is owed to him.         Roaches were meant to be stepped on. As you can tell by the posts, the BBB and all the other legal means are useless with these people, have some fun with them. Do you think that they will complain to the authorities? He called, asked for me in reference to someone I have never heard of at my address, where we have lived at for years, and I owe no old debts,so yes, it's the same garbage.

I have received SEVERAL calls from this company. I first spoke to Tom Cramer who, as everyone else has stated, is EXTREMELY rude. The statue of limitations, according to Federal law, has been up on my debt from like 6 or 7 years ago, this past May. They called me again today, spoke to Heather. She told me that I was going to be served paperwork to appear in court. When I tried to get more information regarding my "file", she told me I was wasting her time and asked me if I was going to pay it or not. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she hung up on me. I called back and got David, supposedly a supervisor, who was also EXTREMELY rude with me. I live in Florida, if anyone knows who I can contact regarding this company, please let me know. yes i have recieved a call from this number everyday for the past month. they have even started calling my moms house and telling her that they intend on sueing me if i dont call them back to make arrangements to pay. i do have old debt but there like 4 years old and the statute of limitations where i live is 3 years. i just recently found this out so i know what to do when they call i thought maybe these ppl were trying to really collect on something i once owed. but i see here that its a scam instead.

hey ppl i just done a reverse search THIS NUMBER IS A CELL PHONE how many companys do you know that operate from cell phones>>>>truly a scam if you do owe past debts that are old and out of the limitations i suggest you all do what i am about to look at your credit report if any of the alias names for this company are there and the credit card company indeed sold the debt with ALL YOUR MOST PERSONAL INFO to these scam artist then go speak with a lawyer because im pretty sure that we may be able to sue THE DUMB [***] THAT PUT OUR LIVES IN JEPERADY!!!!!BECAUSE GIVING OUR PERSONAL INFO TO ANYONE BESIDES A COMPANY WITH A LICENSE TO COLLECT DEBT IS ILLEGIAL THESE DUMB [***] PROBABLY HAVE OUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND EVERYTHING

Well, an update.  This company has finally located me personally and has contacted my employer on how to serve a "summons" to me in a manner that would not "upset" the other employees.  I HAVE NEVER BEEN CONTACTED DIRECTLY BY THEM, but they went directly to my employer even though I was in my office and had NO PROBLEM providing personal info to my employer!!!  This must be against the law!  I finally called David Vasquez back at 949-812-4691 and was informed that it was a Bank of America credit card (I have never had a BofA credit card)that was "charged off".  Please...does anyone have any information on recourse???

Tell them to send you a letter stating the debt, who it's owed to, etc...and they will simply not do it. They hang up on me too. When and if they call your employer, warn them once that you are not allowed calls at work and you could be fired because of it. If they continue, report them to the Federal Trade Commission.

Leave a recorded message saying the message is for me - I've heard HORRIBLE THINGS about these bottom feeders - they call and try to scare people into sending them money for debts that are not valid.

Yeah I have been receiving calls from them for about 2 months, then Vasquez attempted to serve me Small Claims paperwork saying they were suing me for the debt and attorneys fees, FYI: You must be served by a neutral party, and how the hell do you sue for attorneys fees if you are not allowed to have legal representation in small claims court?

Some guy named Dean Perry is trying to get money. He works for a company who buys junk debt for pennies on the dollar and then trys to intimidate people into paying it. You do not have to pay him and he knows it. He will continue to call family and friends. Next time he calls don't take his verbal abuse and just give it back to him only twice as powerful. Ask him why he has lowered himself to doing the scum sucking job and what went wrong in his early life that resulted in him having no self-respect.
He was probably abused or been picked on his whole life. He is a poor desparate fellow.
