The calls from this particular no. is relentless ... they are now getting annoying to say the least, I have rejected their calls at least 25 times but.... they don't give up !!

Sadly if he'd waited long enough he'd have discovered that the owners will take e-mailed memos from the people in this office about someone who called.  So they can decide whether or not to deal with the marketer.

It's actually the same policy when they are here.  If the person does not give a name so they can decide to pick up or not, or is not on the list the owners will take calls from immediately, the owners will tell us to politely pick the call back up and tell them to leave a message.

Got several calls from this number. Ever since I have registered with YELP.COM for my business... I have recieved several calls from scammers tryiing to "sell" me web services, SEO, paycheck services etc.

Called the company looking for the owner, he was not in, i asked if i could help (im the office manager, admin, business developer) they hung up. tried to call back does not accept incoming calls.

These scum suckers called a little while ago.  I didn't answer because of the unknown area code.  Instead I googled the number and came here.  While reading your experiences with this leech company, they call again.  I gladly answer the phone with the standard, "name of business, how can I help you?", and the squeaky woman voice asks for me by name.  I said "Sure, let me get him".  I sat the phone down and went about my business.  This is the way it will go down from now on.  Call all you want a**holes.

I have also answered calls from Splash lately.  Twice I asked them to take me off of their calling list.  The last time I told the guy "You will totally disregard federal laws and you think I might want to do business with you?  Adhering to laws is pretty important in contracts."  I am sure this is the same company and I probably got put on an 'irritate as much as possible" list.  Fine.  Just a minute, I'll get him for you.

Just got a call from this number.  Only rang a couple of times, not long enough for me to even get to my phone.

Just won't answer after reading these comments.  I usually let unknown numbers go to voicemail anyway.  If it isn't important enough for them to leave a message, they're not important enough for me to waste my time on.

Got a call from this guy asking for my husband by name as the owner.  told him that he was not here and that I was the other owner and then asked him what he wanted and where he was calling from "Local Splash" he got very angry and annoyed when I would not give him my name.  He hung up after saying "If you're not going to give me your name then I'll just call someone else."

Very rude.

so rude.  asked for owner and I said he is not here then they just hung up.

Received call.  Man asked for me by name.  I said "speaking."  The line went dead.

When I dialed the number, message said they do not accept incoming calls. So it seems it is a telemarketer of some sort. My business line is forwarded to my cell phone and all calls from my clients etc. not in my contact list have a no ring. They did not leave a voice mail, so I guess it was not too important. Thanks for letting me know who they are. Can't get too worked up with all the bad things happening in the news. I am sure those hit by tornadoes wish that is all they had to be concerned about.

Called hubby's cell phone.  No message left.  Message upon callback said "not accepting incoming calls".

Our company has been getting so many of these.  I have been sending this letter to their websites. And just sent it to http://www.localsplash.com/contact

To Whom It May Concern:

Over the last several weeks our company has received many calls from telemarketers representing your company.  On each occasion the operator has been asked to remove our information from your calling list as it IS NOT a service we are interested in or asked for from your company.

At this time we request that your company take immediate action to remove our company information from your calling list. We formally request that you and your organization must CEASE & DESIST all attempts to contact our company in any of our offices. Failure to comply with this will result in our immediately filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the South Carolina Attorney General's office.  If you do not comply with our request, our Company will pursue all legal remedies available by law against you and your organization.

Let this letter also serve as your warning that our Company may utilize telephone recording devices in order to document any telephone conversations that we may have in the future.
