Yeah i got a call from this number also. I just put it on my block list so they can't call back. Alot of scams going on.

I get a call from this number about every 3 days. Have called back several times and like everyone else who calls, it is unavailable. If it is insurance they are selling, they are not doing a very good job! LOL

I just got a call on my cell.  I have a limited minutes plan, so I almost never give the number out.  How did they get it, or do they just make random calls?

They called my cell phone also and I answered they didn't respond.. How they got my cell its crazy they better not call ever again... I don't know what the hell it is but if anyone knows how to stop it let me know please?q?

They use robo-dialers to dial every number in an exchange or area code.

Assign the pest a ring tone "no ring" so you won't have to listen to him.

Have gotten half a dozen calls from this number in the last couple of weeks.  No message left and the one time I answered and said "Hello" several times, no one said anything.  Bothersome.

i dont appreciate solicitation calls on my cell phone especially in the early morning. Please stop this number from calling and bothering people.

I didn't answer the call either but looked it up&then called back. U can tell it is a cell phone. When I called it never rang so was either off or calling someone else but said the customer u are trying to reach as a voice mailbox that is not been set up yet!

I have a new cell phone... have no idea how they got that number - definitely must be a scam as when returning the call (there was no message just a missed call notification) the number was 'unavailable'....

I received a missed call from this number. Will not leave a voice-mail. No idea who it is. Called them back and it says the number is "unavailable". Stop calling my phone and save me some trouble.

There are so many scams going on out there that it is so disgusting.  When will it stop?

Just got a call on my cell phone f rom this number. I get at least a couple of calls about health insurance scams every week and have learnt not to answer them. My phone is registered on the Do Not Call List. This list seems to be of no use.

Believe it or not.. your phone company and many other places you do business with give out your number to third party affiliates who will then pass it along to others after harassing you. There are even people in other countries (Romainia is one I know of) who will use U.S. phone numbers to try and scam people of their hard earned money. They have ways of doing this and have scammed many in the U.S.
I too have been receiving phone calls from many different numbers for about the last 6 months. An example of a business giving out yours/mine number: Last week I had to call Sallie Mae about my school loans and I had to fax a paper into them. When I got to the bottom where I had to sign, there was a BS statement about if I signed the document I was agreeing to allowing them to give my phone number to their affiliates. That's pure [***]! I called them and the guys first words was him asking my to agree to the same thing.
I then told him NO! under no circumstance did I want my number given out because I'm already having so many problems with spam call/texts to my cell phone as it is. I ask him what happens if I say NO? He said they would need a home phone number; [***] again. I got a bit loud with him and he finally just said okay, okay I will just put NO down here and we will go with that. I honestly don't know how they are getting away with this since it is taking our rights away as consumers. I'm thinking about contacting a consumer rights advocate to see if it's legal for them to not give us a choice.
