That number is from Riverside County, CA.  We received a call from them this morning, too.  No call-back.  Haven't decided to call them back, but looking up the number in Google brought us here.

I also received a call from this number, called back, and a woman quickly asked for dale or dell or something

I received a call from this number as well. No answer when I called back though...

For the second day in a row, a number like this has called my cell phone. Yesterday, it was 951-252-8950. Today it's this number. Did not answer, did not want them to know my phone number was active. Anyone know anything about this number?

Ok, and we ask for someone of a different name when you call in SOMETIMES because we are on a constant automated dialing system to call students. So, the lines cross. Take a chill pill and relax. Just provide your number so we can pull it up and answer your questions. NO - we CANNOT take it out of the system until you provide it. So, save a heart ache and get it over with. This number called me and told me they received notification from a school that was interested in accepting me today. Curiously, I asked what school and she wouldn't tell me. She went on to ask about where I lived and what courses of study I was interested in. Naturally, I informed her that I graduated high school in 2003 and have since finished college.
This is probably a scam to get information out of you. Do not answer and do not call back.

Lady called wanting Brent or Bret at 5:15 pm central time...   I placed ads lately in California not sure if that has anything to do with how she got my number...  Won't answer next time...

I've been getting a call from this area code but like 3 different numbers...I don't know anyone in that area code...but I did request some college info in my area in NC...even if it was a college rep like someone on here said...that's why we have voice mails...the least they could do is leave a voice mail instead of calling numerous times a time for the next God knows how many days.

This number is for people who have signed up for online schools. College bound I believe is what she said. Just tell them to stop calling you with a firm voice and not reply to their questions cut them off and say stop calling me. Thank you!!!!

I called them back and they answered

We keep getting dropped calls from this number.  Think it is a collection service for college loans.  Anyhow we are a business, so there is no reason to call us.  I tried for three days to return calls and today we got through and the representative said they would take us out of the "computer".

After really making them angry I can tell you this is a scam.  The went as low as to tell me they were registering my number under a sex website.  I don't know why the government does not crack down on these things more.  They should not be able to get away with scamming innocent people.  I hope no one actually falls victim to their crime.  Trust me I heard enough to know that these people have no regard for american people.  If I knew who to cantact I would take it further!

The other number they gave me was 1-951-252-2613, when I called it they answered with a hello and when I asked them the name of the company I was calling in to.  They refused until I told them my name.  Be warry they put up a great fight!
