Just got this call this morning from the office of Curtis Jackson of the California State Attorney's office on behalf of Cash Advance USA. Found it funny that while I did apply for a payday loan (and wasn't approved) just this past weekend (weekend of 9/7/12), they called stating that I was being fraudulent and that Cash Advance USA tried to contact me numerous times to resolve the issue. The gentleman who left me a voicemail and the person I eventually spoke to had thick Indian accents. When I spoke to the person, they started off that I was being served an affidavit and after the call progressed, all of a sudden the Sheriffs are coming to get me at work within an hour. They couldn't verify the date the loan actually took place.

I have dealt with this creature about eight months ago, and was told to not even answer his calls. The more I had answered and told him he was lying to me, the more he had called back--and even became obscene. He apparently uses pre-paid cards to that the location comes up different all the time - At least that's what he did back then. He called my workplace twice back then and threatened me multiple times.

BUT - today, the calls started again - - - he must have run out of money - - - and he has called eleven times between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. --- I'm now self-employed, but I think he probably called my old workplace again. I have not answered, but am saving all the threatening voicemails...in case someone really DOES find him and can prosecute for all the calls. I was told by my cell carrier that anything over five calls in one day crosses from "unwanted" to "unlawful."

However, he's probably not even calling from the U.S.

FUNNY FACT: One time I asked to speak to his manager, and he paused and then came back with the same thick accent, only in a deep deep voice and changed his name. I was laughing so hard it ticked him off! :)

yes I too have ben harrassed by this same man with a thick accent for the last two weeks. I figured it had to be a scam because he kept calling from a different number and when I told him I would have my lawyer look into it, he insisted on me calling this number and talk to someone. Now today, I get an emial with a laundry list of charges against me. Each time I cuss em out and he still calls, he has even called my job. With the same b--s about a payday loan.  Talkin about somebody is using my s.s.# number doing  fraud activity. This M--f wants my S.S.# so he can do fraud. He needs to crawl back into the hell hole he came out of.

This number keeps ringing. Answered once and no reply, just hung up
