Calls leaving the same message have come in over a four day period from 951-291-1185, 951-388-1621, 951-447-4276, 951-447-4307

Caller ID name showed: "LK ELSINORE CA" (951-291-1185), "HOMELAND CA" (951-388-1621) and just the calling numbers for the other two calls.

Male voice (probably a soundboard as they are almost exactly the same (discussed below), but expecting a voice response) left the message:

Hi!  This is Jackson and I am with Elite Mortgage Corp (silence) with your mortgage inquiry on a recorded line.  How are you doing today? (pause) Hello?  Are you still there?

The period of silence that occurs around giving the name shifts to different positions between "Corp" and "line", as if they are trying (poorly) to hide from the recipient that they are recording the call.  I am sure that if it worked as they intended, the recipient would be unaware of being recorded, but they would have a recording on their end that they could point to and say "See, we told them it was being recorded."  Fortunately, this caller is inept.  Over the past two or three years I have had messages left from callers claiming to be "credit repair specialists", "job placement specialists" and a few other positions all claiming to be responding to "inquiries" made to their companies, all of whom indicate the call is being recorded but also trying to cover up the fact by a misplaced silence in their message.  If they were legitimate, I doubt that they would need to record their calls.
