Called as due for refill.needs date of birth to go foreard

United Healthcare - These calls are part of a not-very-well thought out program to help the elderly with prescriptions. My first call wanted to know why I was cutting pills in half and not ordering refills often enough. They also push their in house/by mail pharmacy and remind you to use available free points for non-prescription pills etc as required by their contract with MediCare. I declined and am no longer answering their many calls.

Be aware United is the largest health insurer in the world, and scammers have noted how many seniors will answer questions using their name.  The legitimate calls are from nurses often with no proper business caller ID and they have full access to your electronic medical records. Like many others I will decline the reminder option when I figure out how to do so.

I received a text message from United Heathcare about my prescriptions so I called back and a recording said they didn't recognize the device i was using and i needed to call back from the one I received the message?  This is the same phone I got the test from.   So I call customer service at United Health and they said there is nothing new on my account

Received a call in regards to a prescription and to call back on same number I received the message on. Called back, other end said "no messages confirmed for this phone number, please call back on number voicemail was left on"! Clearly a SPAM

phone identified as potential spam, let it go to voicemail.  part of message was cut off but they were asking me to press a number to opt out of "calls from united healthcare" and or "calls/emails about refill reminders.
