- Jeff replies to Bill in Ohioreal company, chance to get the word out through television - requires some cooperation and some funds
- been there done that replies to Bill| 5 repliesdefinately not a scam - we have been using our video to showcase our company on our website and with new customers - the quality is really good and we could not ever have done anything like this ourselves
- Cheryl replies to PeterUsing Television to market ourselves has always been too difficult and expensive for our small company, but this production company made sense to me. If we had the budget I would have done it. Just hating everything that you don't understand is probably the wrong approach...
- Omar replies to Phil| 1 replyIts a scam scam scam. These people have been calling my company for 5 years. They all have 954 area codes which is ft lauderdale. They keep changing their name and their format. Want you to pay $$$$ to produce some BS segment. Tell them to go fly a kite
- truth detector replies to been there done that| 3 repliesthis is a scam and every reply saying it is not a scam is on the 18th of July? Your busted
- Mike replies to Holly| 1 replyHolly, You can do your own video with Senator Fred Thompson or Marilu Henner and put it on CNBC for free through YouTube? How is that? I got the same call, went through the process, had a GREAT experience and now I use the DVD they gave me with the show open at tradeshows. It's just a tad more credible that a youtube video shot from your laptop.
Stuff like this pisses me off. You people have no idea what you are talking about. You see something on the Internet and don't bother to research it any further. That's why people like you you miss out on potential good opportunities. - RGI just received the very same call yesterday on July 28, 2009. Britt said she was doing a show on "Professional Development Solutions" for Fred Thompson TV show http://www.goinsidebusiness.com/. The call sounded so exciting we actually believed her story. I googled 954-671-1083 to find out about these postings which educated me, and saved me time.
The producer she was representing was Zach Snitzer. I spoke to Zach today July 28, 2009 for about 10 minutes. Thanks to this posting I was warned so I went directly to the point. This is a scam because of the way it is introduced to us as they make it sound like they will be running a story on your business (editorial) while in reality you are paying $ 19,700 for that segment (advertising).- Caller: www.goinsidebusiness.com
- Rk replies to MikeYeah, Marilu Henner in a video is gonna give me instant credibility with my prospects. Right. Not.
Buy a nice 3 tube camera, hire a crew, put it on Youtube, hire a credible SEO expert to get you traffic on your website. Est cost: $5k-$10k
Pay 20k to have a video made by these guys with "celebs" that have no standing in most industries (unless you're trying to prospect fans of Law & Order).
Total scam. Wish they would stop calling me....or anyone for that matter. - PR Girl| 1 replyWe've gotten some calls from Doug Eckart as well but from a 954-379-4327 number, wanting to feature one of our clients.
Thanks for the notes - they are certainly not the only company or industry who runs business this way, so I wouldn't label it a "scam" but definitely a "pay for >possible< play" setup.- Caller: Inside Business TV
- Steve replies to Tom| 4 repliesDefinitely NOT a Scam, i thought the same thing at first because of everything that was on this site. I still decided to take the call that i had with the producer, then I had a second call that was set up with one of the executive producers and after expressing my concerns they invited me to their studios which i decided to go.
Let me say that it was one of the most pleasant experiences that I have had, professionals who take pride in what they do, not one unhappy guest that has worked with them and had the chance to speak with guests that they worked with in the past. I decided to move forward and will now be one of their references.
The one thing that really bothers me is that everyone who has written comments on this site has never worked with this company and in some cases has never spoke to anyone but the assistant. Listen, it may not be for everyone, i am very pleased with my experience and so are all the others who were involved in the project. It is unfortunate that the internet can be used in this way with out any consideration to the individuals or organizations that it effects. - Steve replies to PeterDefinitely NOT a Scam, i thought the same thing at first because of everything that was on this site. did you happen to ask them about how much it was going to cost when you spoke with them?? if not that's your fault not theirs. - TAHI got the same voice mail, email today... Are these guys real or not? When I do a quick search on their domain name, I notice that they are registered in Portugal? With a private listing? and they have 21 other domains all doing similar things? server in Colorado... How many different companies/domains does Mr. Baris have? US-Media.net, GoInsidebusiness.com, IBreporttv.com, ..
Doesn't seem right? Are they legit? and can anyone actually comment on real clients that did work for them?
Thanks in advance - - caller unknownGot this call as well, we have done other interviews and they were free, this is basically an infomercial they want you to pay for. This is what they should tell you up front to avoid any confusion.
- another health food company replies to PeterI got a call today and after reading this post dont think I will respond with a time waster...was told it was from Art of Living productions with AP Zach Snitzer for segment on healthy living and they wanted to interview me. Number was 954-312-2006

- truth be told replies to OmarOmar - what is the name of your "five year old company"? You know the one they call all the time?
- Dave HacheyI received a msg from a 'Marie' stating that she was calling on behalf of Art of Living television and that their producer Doug Echart was doing a segment on "pet care solutions for the twenty first century" and would love to interview me as part of it.
I called back and Marie would not let me get a word in edgewise and was on a mission to get me to agree to talk to the producer for an 'initial' interview. I finally was able to ask her if she could explain a bit more about who they are and what they do and she replied "this is just the initial stages of the process so let's schedule a time and you can speak to Mr Echkart. I then asked her 'at any point in this process will I be asked to pay anything?',,,,,,,, long long pause,,,, and then 'well, there is an initial scheduling fee. Incredible. I told her I'd pass, and that they really should look at how they choose to leave misleading messages. She just said thank you and hung up.
Clearly they always say they're doing a segment on whatever your business is in, when in actuality they're doing no such thing - they HOPE to do a segment on it if you're willing to pay for it. - Dave replies to SteveHow can you say people on this site have never worked with them??? We ALL HAVE, and our experience was one of them trying to scam us into spending money with them. Just because we were smart enough to see through their tactics right at the start doesn't mean we haven't worked with them - we CHOSE not to work with them due to the fact that they practice smoke and mirrors marketing.
- How naive are people? replies to been there done thatGood catch on the July 18th replies. I knew they were fake testimonials, but I love it when there is verification .
