- LD replies to wes| 1 replyWe got an email, as well. There was a website with Terry Bradshaw acting as their spokesperson...
TV Scam... - Nick Smith replies to wes| 1 replyYes, I got the same call. It's a pretty good line that pitches well to some small business owners. It is a total SCAM. Look it's hard enough running a small business, especially in todays environment.
- wes replies to wes| 4 repliesno response from attorney general.... I guess it's not a scam after all.
- wes? replies to wes| 1 replywes,
is your real name bob sage? - LAMET replies to wes| 2 repliesjust because a BUSY OFFICE like the Attorney General'S has not responded DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT A SCAM!
- R U Wright replies to LAMETreally - maybe the AG is busy looking into the Slander that you conduct on this site -
a site that requires NO sign-in / NO verification / and where anyone, even you, can make up things to post. - Emmanuel replies to wes| 8 repliesDoug Eckhart has NEVER been investigated by anyone for any reason. And anyone who says that he has is engaged in an attempt at SLANDER. Pure and Simple
- think about it replies to LDDo you really think that Terry Bradshaw would be involved with a scam? Where are your brains?
- Lame ? replies to wes?Bi Lingren is from SynApp North. She may run the company.
She is a woman who requires you to call her by her self chosen nickname: BJ.

- ceo replies to Nick SmithGetting some recognition for the hard work that we have put into our business is a good thing. I was satisfied with this opportunity, but our company is growing and we have a marketing budget. If you're barely making it, then this probably isn't for you.
- Jason replies to Emmanuel| 7 repliesThis is not a scam, per se. It's just a bad marketing opportunity targeted at novice entrepreneurs and execs who don't understand the PR/marketing landscape.
The opportunity is real, you get an interview taped and it appears on a show hosted by Terry Bradshaw. The rub is that the service buys off-hours time slots from networks and runs it programming then. So, for $20k, you may get your interview run at 3am on Sunday night on ESPN2.
I suppose the video itself may have value to an entrepreneur who is just looking for a way to get their story out in a visual fashion (assuming they give you rights to the content), but you can make your own corporate video with a professional producer and distribute it widely across the web for much less than $20k.
There are a number of high profile people that host pay-for-play programs, including William Shatner, Norman Schwartzkopf and others.
Not a scam, but a little scammy in how they market their services and in the value it delivers.
Walk away, not worth it. - Beth replies to JasonI concur with Jason. It's a very similar offering from 21st Century Business. They charge a large fee to produce a short segment about your business and then purchase air time on certain networks - often, as Jason says, at less-than-ideal times. It's important to consider who your target audience is and if a TiA or 21CBTV spot will reach that audience. For most small businesses, I would think not, unless your target audience is comprised of insomniacs who watch ESPN at 3:00 am.
- Carson replies to Jason| 5 repliesJason admits twice that these opp's are not scams
then he proceeds to mislead anyone reading this page about the purpose and usefulness of them.
because he doesn't know
and I'm sure Beth agrees - Chris| 6 repliesNot technically a scam, but IMO it's grossly misleading, and a clear ripoff. But I wouldn't really argue with someone who did call it an outright scam.
They pitch the show as a "news program" or "educational program", but it's really just a dressed-up infomercial, and a rather expensive and useless one at that. I cannot imagine any possible situation that would make this a worthwhile investment.
They and others have a little niche taking advantage of people who are naive about the costs of media exposure. It's pretty shameless, and very ugly.
Carson, it's pretty clear you're just a shill for them.
I hope this saves some honest businesses some money, by steering them clear of what may be an expensive mistake.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Tom| 1 replyGot the same call today. Just under 20K to produce a 5 minute segment. Ask why I would be chosen as spokesperson in this market as opposed to a national professional society (AWEA) and said they wanted the views of private business in the trenches. Does not sound right, does not feel right. So I am running the other way on this one. Very little chance this program would reach my target audience.

- Kelly replies to Chris| 5 repliesChris,
you sound like someone who was rejected for a spot on the show. Sour Grapes and nothing else !! - Dr Know replies to Kelly| 2 repliesKelly,
it's more than just that:
LAMET, R U Wright, Jason, Beth, & Chris are all actually the same person posting over and over again.
It is BJ from SynApp North -
Nothing worse than a woman scorned - Dr Know replies to Dr Know| 1 replycorrection: my above post in response to Kelly was intended to say:
IS it BJ from SynApp North? Because one can never really know.
I guess I'm actually Dr Don't Know.
Just goes to show that if you want to know about something, then you should look into it for yourself and don't rely on any of these postings.
