I received the same threat from Mr. Jacobs...I called William back but could not make contact. If anyone is able to get his address, I would love to have some face to face time with him.

He called my mom yesterday and told her he was going to sue her if you did not settle a debt. She has no debts. I got him on the phone today and he will not tell me the location of his office. So I have been calling him and leavening messages about every 30 min. I will do it till his number is out of service.
It is great being retired.

Stated that he was going to garnish my wages if I did not call him back. I called the phone number and William Jacobs was on the voice mail. I left my phone number for him to call me back. Then I looked up William Jacobs at a law firm, then I looked up the phone number in google and seen all of these complaints that he had did the same thing with other individuals. I think this is crazy to get people all upset and frustrated over a prank. I phone my HR to let them know that this is going on and just to be on the safe side. I have no debts for anyone to be trying to collect from me I pay my bills on time.
This is awful how people prey on the elderly and honest people. I hope that you can do something to stop this dishonest behavior. Thanks and have a blessed and wonderful day.

Got a call from William saying he was going to garnish my wages.  I called back and told him to try because I don't work.  He said he was sending the paperwork...

I have received the same call this morning from William Jacobs an India accent.. He threaten me also with a garnishment, I do not work (haha) but the shown calling from was 561-257-4644 was told to call 954-379-7294  What a joke.  I am going to call an turn the table on him.  I owe nothing, have nothing since my husband just passed away.  I did not get to this age by being stupid.  Please do not fall for this scam.  I to wish I could get an address, my sons would love to visit him.

This is (one of many) criminal extortion scams that have been going on for years. They are using VOIP and/or disposable cell phones to disguise their identities and locations, making them next to impossible to trace and prosecute. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting victims' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Thank you!  I've been getting his calls also.  I figured it was a scam.  The last message he left me didn't sound recorded because he was messing up his "lines" very threatening though. Staying he has my social security number and he'll see me in court.

Received same call.  Was not for me but my son called back and phone number is not in use.  Must be a scam.

I received a call from the 561-257-4644 and also 954-379-7294 numbers , just happens I remembered the area codes as 2 of the numbers I had received stating that I owed them money for a loan I never recieved. I blocked them but they keep calling back. I have been sent via email, court order to repay the money or they would contact my employer and garnish my wages or have me arrested , I know for a fact if you are going to issue a warrant for my address you are not going to send it to me via email . So just watch out for theses [***] who would probably steal from they're own Mothers if they could. I hope you catch them and string them up by there BALLS
