Crooks claiming to be employment drug testers want to discuss your positive drug results and offer to make them go away for a small fee. THIS WAS A TEXT. I called and spoofed a random number. I got a computer that told me to key in the extension I wanted or to hold for the next "assistant." After seven minutes on hold I hung up.

I received a text to call this number back regarding my drug screening results. The TEXT (they did NOT call or leave a voicemail) that a conversation needed to happen. I called the number several times which is not even listed as a contact number on the MRO website and was simply holding .

This is a personal matter not a report worthy one. If you knew you didn't have to submit any type of test you wouldn't engage with the number any further despite having knowledge that this number wasn't officially listed anywhere.

Sure it is a report worthy post if they believed the caller/texter is trying to scam them over a drug screening results.

I received a text stating to call the number 9544406856 and when i called i was on hold for a long time.

This is the text I received:

“Please call Dr. Lopez’s office regarding your employment screening results.  We are calling you on behalf of your employer.  This requires a conversation. Call our office number, 9544406856.  The business hours are 9am eastern to 6pm eastern.
THIS IS NOT SPAM.”

Asked them what my providers name was and no response. I don’t think they’re real because they didn’t call or leave a voicemail and my lab has yet to post my results soooo it’s probably fraud :) [***]

Seems very suspicious I did call because I did just do a drug test for my employer about 4 days ago. I was on hold for 18:53 minutes. Called back and it was another 16.1 minutes on hold. Never got to speak with anyone.

I finally had someone answer. It is legitimate. Don't ignore it as you know time to respond is very important.
I do think it should be a phone call though not a text message like that with all the scams going around.

Funny because this text message/phone calls using this alleged Doctor's name is in multiple threads on this site.  It is clearly a scam and it looks like you are part of the scam.  How much are you charging people to "retest"?

I got the same message. I didn’t respond or call the number. By the looks of it a lot of people are getting the same message

Amazing how not a single one of you has taken the time to call the actual lab where you allegedly got your drug test at and asked them.  Why is that?
