I got a text on my cell phone this afternoon from jjtmuqv@vacationfortheholidays.com.  It said, "You have earned a trip to the Banamas (954)606-5303"

Completely unsolicited.  I never entered a trip and have no idea how I "earned" one.  To spam!

Let me guess, you  a are shill.  Clear violation of the DNC.  There are laws prohibiting junk texts, faxes and phone calls.  Go tell your employer you failed.

Oh nice! So how about posting the legal business name, legal verifiable street address, city and state for this company then?

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Report your callers here, not just to the DNC alone:

Received text about winning two cruise tickets call 954-606-5303. It's a scam. Do Not Call list with the Federal Trade Commission is a joke. I've made numerous complaints to them without any ENFORCEMENT ACTION. I receive about two call a day on my home number and my cell number from companies stating lower your credit card interest, trips, etc. I would like to now how they obtained my numbers. Maybe filing telephone harassment complant or class action civil suit may stop these [***]. I like to reach through the telephone and choke the hell out the callers. But computer generated you can't.

Since when do criminals obey laws?  But of course, your free to take your number off the list and also to track them down yourself as well.  But with spoofed numbers, it may take some time to track them down. Might want to pack a lunch at least! BTW, do you know how many employee's the FTC has? How many reports they get?  How about the FCC?

Just got a text saying I had won a trip to the Bahamas, just like everyone else here. What surprises me is that they're using the same phone number in the text for us all to call back. You mean this is still an active line? How is that possible? Anyway, clearly a scam.
