Just received a message stating, "You've earned a trip on our ship! 954.606 5303". I assumed it was a prank or scam but still went online to check if others were dealing with the same thing. Hope this gets cleared up soon!

GOT TEXT SAYING "YOU'VE TAKEN 1ST IN OUR WEEKLY CONTEST! DIAL (954)606/5303" WEBSITE LISTED IS JRTDB@VACASPECIAL.COM

LOL got a text from ksvgonoq@vacaspecial.com saying a won two free tickets. do not fall for this foolishness.

Got same text. Just like the old saying there is no such thing as a free lunch. This is a unsolicited scam at least best advise DON'T bite it is probably more costly than benefits.

I received a text from the email address ovmokxgoetxlbb at vacaspecial.com (ovmokxgoetxlbb@vacaspecial.com).

The message said "You took 1st in our weekly contest! Dial [954].606-5303".

I did not ever apply for a weekly contest. I'm not going to call the number because it appears to be a scam to me. I checked the domain name the email was sent from in a whois lookup and they have their information covered up with domain privacy. A valid business does not hide their information in the whois directory lookup. This is definitely a scam operation.

also received a text from jtdsz@vacaspecial.com

"Enjoy your zero cost trip to the B. islands Contact by phone @ [954].606.5303"

Do not text or call this number back, any 900 number will charge you per minute, and will most likely be some outrageous amount.

Got a text from these clowns. Reported it to the FTC. Ho-hum, can't wait to see what they do. They sure don't enforce the donotcall complaints I've sent. I bought a phone that can block those clowns and it works VERY WELL!!!

Did anyone else enter the iHeartRadio contest on any san diego radio stations via text message?  that is the only type of contest I entered and also received this message from vacaspecial.com... the only thing I can think is that my information was sold by the iHeartradio contest I entered through star 94.1 and magic 92.5 both whom are owned my clear channel.

I just received a text from aqwvvrf@vacaspecial.com saying this:

Yes iheart radio is a similarity in our situation. Clear channel is now on my (explicit lauguage) list twice, but I'm a real will skills so they aren't fond of me either. I promise the pgh branch will be getting a telephone call right after this message.

Anytime you get a text from a number you don't recognize it's a scam. It doesn't matter if you entered a drawing or not. They wouldn't text you. Call them back and tell them to kiss your [***] and when they try to talk over you just keep saying kiss my ass, kiss my [***] and kiss my [***]

My text message came from capfeg@vacaspecial.com. Same number. Said "You have earned a trip to the Bahamas." with the contact number of 954-606-5303. Gee, how did I "earn" it? I don't enter contests. These people don't have anything better to do than finding other people's phone numbers and trying to run a scam.
