No Message - every other morning...

Why do you keep calling my phone and when answered you hang up. Please Identify yourself

They called me eight times Today! I have not picked up for fear of losing my temper at work.

30 calls in the past 2 weeks.

Ridiculous.

I have been harrassed by this number for weeks, multiple times a day, leaving no message.

Leased to Lec Communications, Ft Lauderdale, Fl....Telemarketers I assume.

I posted a reply, this number is leased to LEC Communications, Ft Lauderdale, Fl, I assume they are telemarketers...had several calls but no one there, robot callers, I just added it to my "reject" list so it
gets rejected when they call again.

They claim to be trying to identify mailing information for a free magazine.....

Lady called our dental office to verify the owner of the practice was still located here because he was up for renewel of his free subscription of Dental Practice magazine.  She than began to "verify" everything from the phone number to the name of the employees and their positions and wanted me to acknowledge I was approving the renewel of this free subscription.  I explained to her that I would not approve anything nor would I give her any information regarding the practice othert than the phone number, email and mailing address, which she should already have on file.  I ended up having to hang up on her.  She spoke so fast that it was unclear exactly where she claimed to be calling from.

The reason the publishers have to push their magazines is that they get more money from ad revenues than from subscriptions.  In order to justify their ad rate, they must show proof that their circulation is indeed 350,000, and not just an empty claim.  This is why they have to call and record your info in case they are audited.  Yes, a pain in the butt, but you need to understand why they do it the way they do.

I agree.  The Democrats have everything to do with this.  DO put this number on the DNC list!

Folks this is a company that works for the publishers of all of those free trade journals you get. The publishers are required by the advertisers to verify the eligibility of those on the subscriber list to ensure that the ads they pay for are really being sent to their target audience. Every publication, including newspapers, has an audit process so that advertisers get their money's worth.

I f you don't want the publication, just say so. If you do want it, they need to ask about your title, purchasing or recommending authority and your company's use of various services or components in your line of business.
