- Frank| 1 replyI was almost scammed into this mess. I saw this post and was grateful, but I have to say Micheal how is it that you recieved info about this loan processor from Rachel, contaced him, and recieved money in 5 days but replied to her post on the same day? Sounds fishy to me. Seeing that I was actually intresred in contacting this person. I think I will pass on getting duped twice!

- scooby replies to Frankfrank i was thinking the same thing.about the bank loans from the same date. and plus you shouldnt be ask to pay any amount up front anyways.
- Mona replies to Shirley M.I had a similar experience. People beware! They are HIGHLY INCOMPETENT. They took my deposit and when I had a number of inquiries on my credit report and no loan, they avoided my calls and did not return my calls after leaving messages.

- MarryI see all these bad reviews and all I can say is wow. I went to liberty unsecured and they got me a loan it wasn't for the 100,000 I wanted but they got me 93,000. for a unsecured loan with no credit card you cant go wrong. I gess they cant help everyone. I also asked them about things like this on the inter net and they told me they were x employees. Any way you look at it if I had a bad time at T.G.I Fridays and wrote really bad reviews but you went there and had a great time what would you do? Not go there any more?

- DimplezThey took me for my MONEY. In the beginning I spoke with a John Mcgloclin then Neil and they both were so kind and promising of my two loans. Neil who said he was there for 10 years all of a sudden stopped working there and so did John. They took $492.00 from me to start everything up. They referred me to improved credit.me before I could even get my loan. I spoke to a Michelle who is no longer there and a David who charged me an additional 149.00 which was not in the contract who is no longer working there either. These people are disappearing left and right and when I call to check on my file they don’t know what I’m talking about or they just never answer at all. I had to send out certified letters to credit bureaus and creditors which is a few hundred dollars out my pocket. 10 months later and nothing. They reason I went ahead and let them take out the $492.00 was because at the time in February 2010 they had an (A+)with the better business bureau now they have an( F) and they other company (D-). Don’t go with this company they are a SCAM!!!!
- JoeThis company Liberty Unsecured helped me with get a unsecured personal loan, it was a little longer then they said it would take but non the least I got the loan. I'm sorry to hear so much bad things has happen to others here.

- THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME TOO replies to Shirley M.| 1 replyI gave them the information to apply for a loan, the women said, ok, ill look over everything and call you back in 10 minutes, and she did, she said I was pre-approved!!! and did have some blemishes on my credit report but I was pre-approved, she gave me a confirmation number and transferred me to finish the process of getting my funds. LOL funny, I was not able to wait , so I hung up and I was going to call at a later time with my confirmation number to finish the process of getting my funds!! but funny thing is, the women who said I was pre-approved called me back and left a voice mail, so I returned her call , she stated her manager said we need to fix some blemishes on your credit report, hence holding up getting my funds, hahahah, I thought to myself, WHY did you call me in the first time telling me I am pre-approved to move on to the next step of getting my funds, and then turn around 5 min later calling me saying that I have to 'take care of some blemishes' on my credit report to get my funds! anyway! I told the women (her name was Molly) I was not interested in blowing $492 just to get loan, and basically said let me think about it for a day and call you back! LOL, basically You DONT tell someone you can move on to the next step in obtaining the funds and then turn around and say you cant, my credit report looked the same 5 minutes later as it did when you first looked at it when you pre-approved me the FIRST TIME LOL and then TRY!! TO scam me for your credit repair services and yes she said Id be reimbursed. I decided to NOT go for there scam, but if YOU do, YOU give them the option of paying with either bank visa/mastercard (that deducts from your checking) OR a major visa/master credit card, NEVER use DEBIT!! that way if your ripped off, simply go to YOUR bank and file a dispute and get YOUR money back! its very simple! I have done it a few times and it WORKS!
- THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME TOO replies to THEY TRIED TO SCAM ME TOOalso, I noticed they NEVER asked me for my social security number BEFORE they said I was pre-approved!
- tried to rip u off replies to matmatwell they certainly CANNOT DO ANYTHING to your checking account since they only have the last 4 digits, lol, if that is truly what you only gave them was the LAST 4 DIGITS, or the last four digits of your debit card, lol, cant process any transaction on just a partial number, not to worry then!
- LizThese people called me and told me I was approved for an unsecured loan for $30K. I had not applied for a loan with their company. The man said there were a couple of problems on my credit report and I would need to get 'repaired". I was looking at my credit file at the time they called because I was getting ready to apply for a construction loan for a new house and there was NOTHING detrimental on my file. I asked which particular item was a problem (since they did not even have my social security number) The guy said one was a department store (likely guess) and when I told him I had no credit lines with dept stores, he immediately said it appeared to be an old Visa account. I said "nope, never had a Visa card - only use American Express. I asked for his name and his phone extension as I needed to call him back and he hung up on me. This is obviously some type of scam and I would suggest people NEVER do business with them. As for the guy who spouted all the good things about them - what a bunch of BS in my opinion and my guess is he works for them.
- Horacestine Miller replies to Bill ConnerDo you work for Liberty are they really for real.
- do not scam meYes they do try to scam you!! First you need to understand their fast talking pitch. Example they wanted to sell a loan for 10,000. It woudl cost $20 per month per every thousand you borrow. That would be $200 before you even add the interest from the lender they propose to you. This automatically adds $2000 to your loan amount before the interest portion. You have just signed up for a 20% loan on the money you'll be receiving before the even tell you the interest rate of the loan. Not a good deal and please do not be fooled by their kindness.

- MUST READ replies to Shirley M.| 1 replyWhenever you look for a loan, you never want to pay up front fees. If a company is worth their weight they will do the work and then collect any cost once you accept the terms. If you really need assistance getting a loan, I highly recommend Life House Funding. I know for a fact the work solely on a contingency basis there are no up front cost. The only thing they needed from me was a recent copy of my report. I was happy to give it especially because they were able to get me approved.
Again, avoid any company that charges up front cost. - MUST READWhenever you look for a loan, you never want to pay up front fees. - DThis company is horrible. I got a call from a Renee and she sounded very nice and she walked me through the whole process. I had originally asked for a $1000.00 loan she said that the lowest they go is $6000.00. They offered me a loan for $6090.00 and another one for $6394.00 she said that I needed to choose one. I choose the $6090.00 and she told me that my payments would be between $130.00 & $150.00. She couldn't tell me my interest rate or anything. She told me that they found a couple of yellow flags and that I needed to go though this other company that they work with called Improve Credit. I went through that whole process and then they sent me all this paperwork to fill out. I read the contract and that contract was horrible. Your basically giving them permission to take extra money out of your account. They gave me the option of paying $246 that day and another $246 in less than two weeks so I set it up. I found some horrible reviews and decided to call back and cancel, but the problem was that it was Christmas and I couldn't contact anyone. This morning I called my back and told them that this is a fraudulent company and they reimbursed me the $246 that improve credit already took out and stopped payment on the second check. They called me today to find out if I receieved the paperwork I told them that I cancelled and that I don't want to do anything. She told me that its very hard to get your money back, but she would forward my information to Accounting and they will contact me. She said that it would be hard because they already started the process. Dumb a** I just started on the 23rd of December and everyone was out for Christmas and today is the 27th nobody started anything. BOA refunded me my money and put a fraud alert on them and have stopped payment on the second check. When Sue told me that it would be hard to get my money back all I told her is that my bank has taken care of it. She said "what do you mean they stopped payment" I said yep and she hung up. This company is a huge scam. They are in Florida and even their contract says were able to perform business in Florida....I'm in California that's all I have to say.
