I have heard NOT TO ANSWER THIS NUMBER.  When you answer it, it validates your number.  From there on out, who knows how the SCAM will manifest.  THIS IS OBVIOUSLY BAD NEWS AND NEEDS TO BE STOPPED. I have instructed my children not to answer anything that says "unavailable" in the Caller ID.

They have called me several times the last couple of days at all kinds of hours looking for my 12 yr old daughter. The guy told me that she was informing about colleges on the phone when I asked him who he was and why he was looking for my 12 yr old.  I knew something wasn't right being that she is not even interested in boys yet so there was no reason why he should be calling my house.  I have a brand new phone # and when I called back this number it also states that it has been disconnected.  Called local state police and they stated that it was probably some sort of internet scam and they are probably getting her name from something online.  He informed me to just be careful.

I also received several calls from this number somewhere in Florida but when I call back it is a disconnected phone number

He called my huband and he asked him if he was a catholic and when my husband said no, he called him by his name and told him to quit playing with him. I called the number back because it scared me and I got an out of service talking machine. I think that if this problem is not fixed by who ever needs to fix it we will be filling charges against the phone company for not doing anything about it when they should know every person that has a damned phone number. The first phone call we received he just sat there and listened.

i found out that 9549054135  is registered in coral springs fl to a US LEC Communications as a commercial number security will be calling to update me on what is being done  i will then contact you all.

I received two phone calls from this number.  The first time I missed it and it should've gone to voice mail and shown up as a missed call but it didn't; I had to view the number in "received" of the call log.  I did try to call it back but said it was disconnected.  I got another call later today, answered it, I could tell someone was there but hung up.  I tried to call back again it said it was disconnected again.  What is this, what do I need to do?  I looked the area code up and it's from Fort Lauderdale, FL.  What the???  Please let me know if there's something I should do.

I look this number up and it is from North Dade, FL.  I dont even know anyone in FL.

I got a call from this number last night and didn't answer it but was curious as to who it was - glad I didn't answer after reading all these other posts.  Someone has too much time on their hands!!

Sounds like those people who call you and want to send you checks.  And, then they have some special deal that if you write them a check for $5,000, then they'll give you a check for $50,000....total scam stuff.

I just got a 5th call from 954-905-4135 today! I have answered it each time and every time they said that I have inquired about collages. All 5 times today I have told them that I never made that inquiry and that I am 50 years old with a great civil service job and that the only thing that I am interested in is retiring! I sure as hell don'tt want to go back to school! I told them to quit calling me, but they just keep calling! I'm getting really pissed at these people!!!

I got 4 calls in one day: the first phone call was the number ending in 4134, the last three ending in 4135. They kept calling me and asking me if I wanted to "further my education" and that they were "following up on some information I requested online"... well I definitely never requested any information. On the third phone call I told them that they've called me three times now and every time I told them no, so stop calling... the guy answered with "my apologies" and I hung up. They ended up calling a fourth time so I had my boyfriend answer and when he said hello, they hung up immediately.

and as a side note... it seems like these people are mostly calling females... and when males answer the phone, they hang up...

We have received a call from this number twice today asking for my little girl..
Every time we call it back it states it has been disconnected...

They called me wanting my info saying that they were a college.  I also received another call from 18475861000.  Does ne one know who that is?

i have experienced the phone call and hang ups too.  i wonder if it is a way of billing my phone # for another seperate call.  i remember as a kid i could make a call by billing it to a third #.  is that still possible?

Five calls asking for a girl who doesnt live here. Hung up on 2nd, 3rd and 5th calls when I answered. Man and woman were two people who asked for "Jessica" Said it was some school she signed up for information on. I told them nobody here by that name on the first call but they still continue.

This number has called once a day everday for the last two weeks I answered and no one was talking, I heard t.v. noises in the background...I tried calling it back and got no answer...

I too, joined surveys online. Two so far. Thanks for your input. I will not answer the phone knowing what is awaiting me. Now, I'm busy taking my name off all those survey sites, but they have my info, now. Stay safe, don't answer and keep your info safe.

3 times today this number already called me. I dont know who it is. Started at 8am. I work nights that ticked me off big time. I dont answer who I dont already know.
