Someone called my house phone and asked for me. I tried to call it back but it had been disconnected or no longer in service...Who is this?

I just got a call on my home phone from 954-905-4135, and when they heard my voice, they hung up.  It is 11:40 am here in California, and when I tried to call the number back, it said it was disconnected.  I am wondering how this is possible.

When i answer the phone the person hangs up or the phone just beeps.  They call my cell phone about 5 times a day.  When i call the number back it tells me that this number had been disconnected.  It is getting old and kind of scary.

I  am  always  getting  calls  from  this  number,  and  alot  others,  i  personally  think  its  because  i  ordered  medication  online  and  eveytime  i  do  i  get  these  calls  for  about  a  month..

I have received 9 phone calls from the number 1-954-905-4135 they won't leave a message and I have no idea who it is. My husband is getting really frustrated with it so I will answer next time. The only thing I can think of beings that all these other people are having the same problem is that people are giving their info out on the internet. I signed up for some survey thing yesterday and now I am getting all these random phone calls there is another number as well that has called me about 4 times today. That number is 1-866-416-4594. This is kind of creepy.

Does anyone else here have a loan from Washington Mutual.

I revieced several calls from this number as well, but nothing was ever said. They would not say anything when I answered, and would never leave a voicemail. Has anybody figured out where this call is originating from yet?

I have been getting a call from this number 954-905-4135 for the last week.  Several times a day.  And when I answer my phone shows call ended.  Finally tried to call it back and get that it has been disconnected.

Appears to be some kind of financial aid or a response to information that I inadvertently had questioned online concerning a college.  They had called me a couple of times, and when I finally did answer it, they were going on about some college.  I told them I am not interested.  They may be affiliated with number 954-346-1212.

They may be a telemarketer that deals explicitly with several companies and organizations.

That number calls my cell phone about 2 times a day. I never get to answer because they hang up too fast (within first ring). Its really annoying. Everytime I call back it says its disconected.

i got the same missed calls... 954-905-4134 & 954-905-4135... I live in the bay area california...

I live in New York and I have been getting call from this number foe the pass several days. It is very annoying because when I do answer there is no reply. If I try calling back i was told the number has been disconnected. This VERY VERY ANNOYING. IS there something that can be done about it. Who do we talk to

I've been getting calls on my cell phone from the same people for the past 2 months. The first 2 weeks it was everyday, sometimes three times a day! The first call they asked for my husband and when I said he wasnt there, they hung up on me. When I try to call back its always disconnected or out of service. Now when I pick up they hang up as soon as they hear my voice. We arent signed up for any magazines, we went to that website to keep telemarketers from calling us, we arent in any financial trouble so a collection agency will call...I dont know who this is and they wont stop calling...any professional business would not be this vague or persistant even with your cooperation...anyone have any idea how to make them go away?

They call at least twice a day, and whenever i pick up they hang up. I just dont pick up anymore. its getting really annoying.

Someone called and asked for my young son and when I asked who is calling, they hung up.  that's when I ran the number in the computer and found this sight.  these people should be stopped.

This number called me on sunday and I answered and they hung up then they called me again at 9:20 am on monday the next day.

I have gotten the same call and they never answer the phone. I have no clue what this is, can anyone inform me?
