954-905-4135 calls alot says from FLorida and said i ask for info but when u call back it says disconnected

Got a call from this number on Apr 7 (Saturday),no message and no name. When I called back it was not in service.

I just got my first call from these people, but i have been recieveing call from other long distance # and I have not answered them!
if you know how to block these people let us KNOW!!

Today I have recieved 2 calls so far from this number I looked it up online it said it was from Fl. So I thought it was from my freinds that live there I tried calling it back and it keeps saying that it is disconnected then I found this site. I will not answered the call but I want to know who or where it is coming from.

This Dork (Idiot) has called my cell 3 times today, and no one is talking. I called back the first time, and it said the # was disconnected. They better not try calling anymore, or else.....

I have got called 3 times from this number! The first time I tried to answer and it hung up right away. I dont know how it could have got my number. I never give it out for anything as it is a cell phone. And I dont know anyone in Florida.

I got the call today....first time....and at my place of business!!!  He said his name was Gerald calling from the University and College Finder.  Have no idea how he got my name and WORK number!  Told him I was not interested.

I keep getting calls from 954-905-4135 and 954-905-4134. I answered once and they said they are some College Further Source or something. I am getting pissed at it, I keep getting it at least 2 times a day. They keep calling my cell, I have no idea how they got my cell either, or my name!

they called me this morning, then hung up when I picked up the phone. Then I called it back, and it said the phone was disconnected.

They call me bout 3 times a day. They call and don't even let it ring very long then just hang up..

They called me asking for Philip which incidently happens to be the name of someone in my family..  I told them they have the wrong number and they were polite and apologized and then hung up

I received calls from this phone number recently (within the past week) along with phone calls from 954-905-4135. It just started several days ago. they call my phone number, leave no message. I have no clue who these people calling are.

Look everybody, I know who it is.....it's a place called LEC Communications, based in Florida.....if you owe a company money, for an unpaid debt (cell phone, house phone, mortgage, etc...) LEC is the group that contacts you, trying to get the debt repaid....... their debt collectors, like people that are hired to repossess a car when u don't pay it, like that. Be careful, and check your credit reports, because they pull an unauthorized pulling of your credit report, to find out all your information..........
......the reason I know is because I received a letter from them, telling me that I owed something......stupid people sent it to the wrong place, then they started calling my phone!!!

For the past couple of days, I have been receiving calls from that very same number from my cell phone as well.  When I answer the call, we get disconnected.  very strange.....  Have you figured out who this number belongs too?

LEC stands for LOCAL EXCHANGE CARRIER.......it turns out, its not based in florida, as i thought....this is how u find info about it

go to wikipedia.com........once u get there, type in local exchange carrier, or LEC....there is all the info u need right there.....turns out, they do deal with unpaid debts to phone service providers, like, bellsouth, verizon, cingular, etc....

This number keeps calling, and when I call it back, it states the number is disconnected, or no longer in service. What can I do to make them stop calling?
