SCAMMER linked to attempting to rent you a property. They pretend to be the owner of multiple properties all over the country, for EXTREMELY lower than usual market value. If you search the number, as of 9/4/2018 you will see they are linked to several properties all over the USA. Listings are usually quickly removed.

This person posted an ad on facebook as "Michael James Donatini" renting a house out for $800 month and an $800 deposit telling me to text 956-422-3698 for a faster response, so I did, they didn't respond until 5 days later.

They asked me how many people are moving in and how old everyone is, then they asked for my Email address in which I provided, they emailed me from lawre3266@gmail.com (which went to my Spam/Junk mail).

In that email, he introduced himself as Robin Garvey and said him and his wife moved to "ILLINOIS" (he put that in all caps for some reason) and had very poor grammar.

He provided me with a different address than one listed saying that the other one is no longer available. Hillsborough County Tax Commission shows the name of a different owner, same with the other house, he claims that the houses are under his step son's name and the other is under his daughter's name.

He also gave me the code of the padlock on the door, he said there were 3 bedrooms, but to my surprise, there were actually 4 when I got there (coincidentally the house was right behind my parent's house so I had my Dad check it out with me).

There was also a paper in the window that said something along the lines of "If you are not speaking with Stress Free Property Management about this house, then you are being scammed" and then there was a number to call.

I asked Robin/Michael about this, they told me to remove and dispose of the paper saying "My attorney got in touch with them already, and they said all they want is their commission, and we told them, we will pay them that once we get a new tenant to secure it". They also changed the the deposit cost to $3,000

Be careful, its a Scam.  This number texted me asking how many occupants ages for all 805-603-4290

Same scam they are trying in IN. They take the pictures of another posting and then try and and "offer" you a deal for some information. Be careful out there people, if it's too good to be true....

Same experience. Same email story with a different name. Asked him for utility bill to prove ownership and he yelled at me and said im not buying his property

SCAM! He almost got me today! He went by the name of Michael Muniz. Same email, lawre3266@gmail.com, but different number this time, +1 (919) 642-3694. Told me this 3 bed, 2.5 ba house was renting for $800. I googled the address and found the real realtors, Home River Group, and asked about it and they had no idea he had been doing this. They never change the lockbox codes so he was able to schedule a tour and just remembered the code. Don’t fall for this guys, be careful! I almost gave him $1600 today.

Hi Tyler - thank you for reporting it to us at HomeRiver Group - our lock box codes are generated randomly but they do last for an hour.  We have blacklisted him through Showmojo but that doesn't mean he can't try again.  We so appreciate your help with this and it's absolutely the truth that if it seems too good to be true it probably is.  Thanks again Tyler - we appreciate you!

Same thing happened to me he asked for my email which I gave him and he sent me a questioner which I answered I felt weird about it so googled the number and found out it was a scam a little nervous now due to giving him my name and info

I think I got scammed by the same guy the lady above who almost got scammed by Michael Muniz!!! OMG, I'm in tears because we gave him money & I don't know how to get back what we sent him!!!!

I am so stupid, I sent him money but held off on the last portion of the money he was asking for. I've been trying to get a hold of the realtor company to verify Michael Muniz as the owner, but I haven't heard from them either. Michael is still texting me to have me send more money but I've been telling him I can't.
Its so frustrating that this low life is scamming off people because I'm disabled & my husband works 2 jobs to support him & our kids...

Saw an ad for my local area, thought it was too good to be true though so I started googling and found him under several scam complaints. I called the actual rental company to let them know as well.

SCAM! He got me today. He went by the name of Michael Muniz. Same email, lawre3266@gmail.com, but different number this time, +1 (972) 914 8205. Told me this 3 bed, 1 ba house was renting for $900. I went to the house fell for his commitment and sent him $400 out of the original $900 he was asking. After connecting the dots found this was absolutely a total scam. I called the ATM I used and they have blocked him from getting any more money in that fashion.
