They have been calling me about once a month for a guy named Jeffery for a few months now.  I saw online that this number actually belongs to Credit Managers Resource Group.

Been receiving calls from this number for about a month now....letters als. They Presented themselves as a Law Firm stating that I owed money on a gym membership....I am also from Michigan. Was about to settle until they told me to send a payment directly to a paypal acct......I'm just thinking a law firm should be better equipped than to have to accept payments through paypal. Still looking for info on them.....can't find anything about them by the PPS name on the web.

I received a phone call from these people also.  Yes, they did represent thmselves as a law firm and wanted money.  I have no idea who they are.  I wondered about them so I asked for them to send me information on what I owed.  They said that because of the laws in Texas they cant send mail out of state.  Then I knew they were a scam.  DO NOT ReSPOND to these people.

Ron just received the same call yesterday about oeweing money for a gym membership I live in lansing there company is sooo fishy.

I recieved a call from this people that supposedly I owe money to them,, but, I am only 18 years old and I don't have any debts!!!! this people are stupid!!!

Have you heard any more from this guys? just started to get calls and was about to ask them to send me info too about the debt I owe. And yes they did represent themselves as a law firm, are they?

I HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND IDK WHAT IS IT THAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT IDK WHATS UP WITH THEM.... TRYING TO GET MY SOCIAL INFO AND OTHER PERSONNAL INFORMATION.... JERKS

They have been calling me too and I have no idea why? They even called my parents phone stating that it was a personal matter and they couldnt discuss anything with them... I have no idea who they are or what they need from me.

they are not a scam they are a collection agency they cant send letters out to several states do to law like AZ, and MA and like 3other states

well i paid them already they handle diffrent cases b/c i went and paid them and they have there office in mcallen and where they are located its on Kerria plaza and theres attrnys in that plaza 1st floor and 2nd floor also, they are on 3rd floor. i think its a collection agency but they are there i went directly to the office and they do look real not like a scam bc they gave me a reciepe of what i paid and a letter of paid in full

I did receive a call from these people. bottom line is if you owe dont act stupid. They are real. Its like a collection agency. I also went to Mcallen and pd of my acct. Got a legal receipt and they saved my [***] from getting to the creditors. They do tell you who they are and who they represent.

I have received several calls over the past few months from this number. They claim to be a law firm called Preston and Associates, but the caller id shows unknown number. They ask to speak to my daughter about a gym membership, but she doesn't have one and has never had one. I now hang up on them and they call back asking if I help my daughter with financial matters. I told them not to call my number again, but I know they will. I think this is a scam. Be careful.

so come on if you owe and you know who you r pay up this guy did and now in the clear way to go buddy i did the same...

I just got a harrassing phone call from this place from some guy who calls himself "Antonio Moore". They say that I owe from a gym membership that I had when I used to live in Laredo, TX (well over 5 years ago). I do not owe any money to any gym. That's how I know it's a scam. Then I saw this website with other people complaining about the identical thing. It seems to me like they're going around buying up old and closed-up accounts from gyms around south Texas to try to threaten people into paying a settlement, even though these people probably don't even owe anything; they're just afraid of collections.  
I just submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and I think the rest of you should too. This is obviously fraud.

Been getting calls from a "Ron Davis" at pp&s on my machine at home, regarding an ugernt matter.

I called hte number from a different number, the operator asked me for what number did he call?  I said I am retuening his call to the number he gave me, I dont recall.  She hung up on me.

MY BROTHER JUST RECEIVED A CALLED FROM THE SAME NUMBER FROM A ROBERT CAIN WE DONT KNOW WTF HE IS

I also received this call about a debt I owed, and that I needed to pay right away, they wanted my bank info. And I told her where the office was located and the lady got rude that it was going to be a waste of gas from my house to McAllen and that it was better to do it by phone I told her that I was going to talk to my husband about it. And I still receive the calls!

They claim to be a law firm...but they are not?
They claim to be a collection agency...but they are not?
They claim to be "owned" by a "Philip Blanda" who is?
Are they legal; are they licensed under state/federal laws; are they ethical; are they fraudulent?
Any reports, complaints, or sanctions against them at the Texas Attorney General's office?

Same people called me too, luckily I didn't answer and will not answer if they keep calling.  Hope these stupid people get caught.
