I received several calls to my personal cell number also but the calls were not for me, they ask for my daughter so i questioned what was this in reference to and they actually told me it was none of my business that it was a personal call for my daughter, so i told him my daughter is my business because she still is my dependent and lives with me therefore if he can't tell me the business to stop calling because i would not give her a waste message and told him thank you for listening and goodbye. before i actually pressed the button to hang up he said that i better give her the message or else>>>>>and i said or else what ____? He said i would be doing wrong by not thats all..i said thats what i thought>>>But my daughter is only 19 and has no debt at all.....hello. The only thing i can think of is that i registered my daughter for college and somehow all the personal information is being passed along....makes me wonder how many victims our out there...watch out everyone and block their number if your phone company allows..parents watch out for your undergraduates...I believe they are a scam...

I have been receiving phone calls from this number but thought I should ccheck out the law firm they say they are and this is what came out ...I'm glad I didn't answer but wish they would stop calling

They called to try and collect a debt from 2003.  They are not a law firm.. I sent them a letter about the Texas 4 year statute of limitations to collect debts and they stopped calling me.

I saw you posted this in June, so did you end up paying them. I am getting calls because I have an overdue balance with Blockbuster, however blockbuster just went bankrupt, so why would they still be collecting. I will pay if its affecting my credit score. However, I read that they do not even pay the creditors off, so it still remains on your credit score. Did you ever pay them? Were they a scam? Will they quit eventually? I need some resolution! Thanks.

They have an ad on Craig's List.  They are opening an office in Austin, Texas.  I am thinking this might be some of the ppl that used to run Ford, Cooper and Kako.  And that was a scam operation pretending to be a law firm, but they were simply collectors.

bottom line is you pay your bills or else you wouldnt get clls from anyone. also you know you owe if you pretend to not remember that's up to you.

been getting calls for a debt in mexico, fishy cuz we just visited mexico and they just started calling. why didnt they call b4? why now? debt was owed back in 2009 but we never heard from them b4.

I have the same issue with them and blockbuster, they sent me a letter saying that if i dont pay up then i will be responsible for their lawyer fees and so on. When I talked to one of there employers on the phone they wanted my credit card information information, i told them i wasnt comfortable with that. I was a bit upset about the fact that they called me the same day they threatened to put my debt into my credit information. They still call and I have no idea if it was a scam or not. Can you give me any advice on how you handled this situation? The blockbuster I would rent movies now is now closing and I have no idea why in the world they would threaten to put this in my credit, I feel like they should've warned me about it, or at least have the decency advise me about it weeks before.

I recieved two phone calls from these people one on my house phone and one on my cell phone, stating they were a law firm, they left messages at both numbers. I looked them up to see if they were legitamate and no they are not.

They called me 2 times and they said i owe them money but i don't know anything and i asked them what i owe and they told me in a very demanding voice that i knew what i owed them.

I thought this was for real, a real lawyer, but I looked up the number and found all these complaints, they told me I owed money, but would not tell me who they were collecting for, just Rio Grand Regional Hospital, I had already made arrangements with Rio Grand Regionals for payment plan... the guy became rude and offensive...ended the call

Received a call asking for my son.  Asked them what this was about and said they were a law firm and wanted to speak to him.  Said "well this is his mother talk to me: said " No need to talk to him or have his attorney call.  Said ok, let me call my attorney's office.  Got scared and said no, you don't have to do that have him call us.  Like whatever.  If they call tell them you are going to have your attorney call them. Shut them up like real quick.

Or, bottom line, is you losers trying to scam people should get real jobs, and quit trying to steal from people.  Bottom feeding scammers should post on this website.  Just makes them look like more of a loser.
