I keep getting these calls even after reporting to the DNC and FTC. I finally started taking my phone off the hook when I leave for work and hang it back up before I go to bed.  If anyone needs me, they can email me.  They have called me 8 times this year, been reported 8 times but nothing happens.  Telemarketers should all be taken out and shot, and then fed to the gators.

I just posted a message and in the caller area I typed Lower Interest by mistake..still I want to never get another call from whoever this is...

Was called despite being on the DNC list for my cell and my land line. They were offering to lower my interest rate if I had over $3000 in credit card debt. They word things in a manner that implies they are with your current credit card company. This is not true however it took me about 5 minutes of asking the same question in different ways for them to admit this. They claim that they are AMA Account Management Associates I believe is what they told me, before they promptly hung up because I asked what their actual name was.

This is ANOTHER phone number in a string of calls from this company.

It seems that every time someone complains about a "phone number," they change it and call from a new one.

It is always the same recording telling me I can lower my interest rate on my debt (of which I have none other than my mortgage and student loans!).

This place needs to be shut down.  Keep filing complaints to the DoNotCall.org.  It is the only way this will eventually stop.

SCAM ALERT Claimed to represent Visa, Master Card, and Discover (claim made more than once) and said he could tell me which credit card I have an outstanding balance on, then required personal information including my Social Security Number which I wouldn't give him. He then accused me of giving him the run around and told me my correct zip code, and said he has ALL my information right in front of him, so I told him he was the one giving me the run around because I don’t have an outstanding balance! Definite illegal practice by not telling me the real name of the company he was really working for.

So, What's your friggin' point?

It's been a busy day, the scumbags are hungry and they want to wake you up in the morning...I've gotten 8 calls today (Friday 2012-09-14), including two new numbers, one named "LOWER INTEREST" which I have previously received from 503-902-8480, and one named "ARTHRITIS INFO" which I have previously received from 765-807-6509 and 516-224-0062:

Second call in the last month from these morons. I already know they are a scam. I have changed my tactics to making suggested remarks (from other posts here) to them after pressing 1.  What they do isn't nice so I don't have to be nice anymore. Blowing a whistle, using a boat horn, and also making cutting remarks.  Today I told the guy who answered he had a small you know what and hung up.

Uh, yeah, thanks for explaining the obvious. "DNC" can stand for many things but readers of this site should already be familiar with the FTC program.

probably a medical debt collector since these calls started after I refused to pay a medical bill supported by altered electronic medical records. From a google search, seems the FTC last winter filed a lawsuit in California about these "heather" and "rachel" and "card services" robocalls, which continue. Given my insurance company's/medical group's oral insistence on their political clout with both parties and "all regulators" as well as their "property right" to alter records (despite Virginia law and the HiTech Act, as well as the FDCPA and the CanSpam Act among others), I suspect the call centers also do political work and this is their payday.

comtinous calls from "rachel" for months now.  three calls early this morning. called phone company in past -they couldn't help prevent rachel from calling.  DNC list no help.   complaints to variety of government agencies no help.  only two options: cancel phone service=no more calls of any nature- or find rachel and....tell her to stop-which i know she will not as this scam is run by companies like Pacific whetever in Oregon.   To find the hidden money trail these scum are enriched by seems fruitless as robocall devices cost little and get no benefits!   Neat deal huh? NOT good for phone customers though!   The DNC list is a joke where the numbers are probably sold to robocallers-for a kickback I would guess!

credit card scammers ,robo calls wish i could get my hands on those sob [***]. never gonna get anything out of me ever wasting my time calling and calling,changing numbers . why cant the government stop those sob scammers once and for all.
