Strange! the same number just called my work, (a car dealership), and it was a very LOUD recording about credit cards, and debt or some garbage like that... then i pressed 1 to talk to the person to ask who the call was directed for and all i got was static then a hang-up. weird

You can go into your phone servicing on line and block these phone numbers - at least I can with ATT service.

Since my son signed our phone numbers on DNC list , believe it or not that is when calls from 800 numbers increased on our private cells and home numbers. I even received unwanted marketing texts from my private cell phone. It seems like big jokes to me ' The Do Not Call '. I am planning to cancel all phones services all together this year because we consumers are not protected at all by anyone. I even received calls a few times after 1:30 AM deep in sleep. This is ridiculous. Even our local providers give out our private cell numbers to collectors. Which is not right.

I have been on the DNC list for years. Nothing changed. Still get calls from every scam artist and
telemarkets in the country.. The DNC is a Joke. For a while I just looked at the caller I.D, picked up the phone,then put it down and walked away. Lately I answer the phone and blow a whistle into the phone as loud I can then hang up. The calls have decreased quite a bit but still get more than I want.

Keep getting calls from this number plus various other 971 Gresham, OR numbers.  And we too are on the DNC list but of course when you're some two bit con artist you don't care.  Each time they leave a cryptic message to get you to give them personal info...

I am on a National Do Not Call list.  You have called an average of 6 calls per day.  We press "9" and nothing has happened.  I try to call the number and it says it is disconnected.

Immediately remove my number from your computer dialing system.  I am not interested in any more of your disruptive calls, nor would I purchase from such a disreputable company that has a phone system designed only for interruptions.

DO NOT CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN!

This telephone number belongs to Pacific Telecom Communications Group.  They are a public utility who's business involves facilitating illegal telemarketing calls in violation of 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

My new tactic is pressing whatever number I need to talk to these people.
I try and find as much as I can about the company. Then I harass them.
Do not call list and the FTC is a big JOKE. IT DOES NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not one thing. They are useless.
I use to file a complaint every time I received a call.
When the calls kept coming, I finally I realizes all the complaints I file are worthless.
