I received several, very threatening.  Saying I will have a criminal case against me and be arrested tomorrow morning if I don't call them back

I received a call at the business I work for from this number and a guy (with a foreign accent) stated that he was John Smith (don't know very many foreigners named John Smith) and he was looking to talk to one of our employees about a personal emergency. I asked, is this a personal business matter, he screamed no it's a personal business emergency, I was like whatever.  He was persistent in saying that he needed to speak with him about an emergency.  Stated that I needed to transfer him, which I said that was impossible, he continued on asking why not and that this was a personal business emergency.  I said, that I would be sure to forward his message, not.  Hello, whatever company this is, John Smith is over-used and we are tired of getting calls.

Just received a phone call from some called lawyer with the name Jeremy Smitz with phone number  972-460-4265 requested payment of a loan I have no clue about.  If not paid in full, arrest is pending and the police would be serving me at any time with jail time up to 30 days. Please Help!

This was very disturbing.  Your help would be highly appreciated.

Received phone call and my hearing is impaired and my wife took the call. Phone number was as listed above.  Your assistance would be appreciated.

Had this number call me to. Had my lawyer call its a scam do not give them money they used the name jason deann when they called me hope this helps

Threatened to put my wife jail if she didn't pay him 8000.00 dollars for a bogus loan. He has called 6 times in 8 hours with increasing demands and threats. What a pathetic low life.

I received several call from this number, but I never returned because I figure it was a fraud.  I had calls from a John Smith and J.D Williams.  They both has ancents.

Just received a call from the same number saying he was adam west  debt collecter etc.. from some loan company that was not paid... total b.s!

Just received a call from this number, however, they did not leave a name, but realized that he was not from America because of the accent.  Indicated that if I didn't return the call all he could wish me was "good luck".  I'm not even sure what the purpose of the call was, he never indicated who he was calling for or from.  I hope I have "good luck".

I just received 3 calls in a row from this number. I did not answer and let the call go to voicemail. I will be saving all calls and reporting these individuals.

First let me say, I feel a little better because, I was totally freaked out especially at the idea that someone was coming to my job to arrest me. I too kind of thought it was strange that Mark Johnson with an accent would be calling me about a debt that was not paid. So what should I do?

I would like to report these harassing calls from the number.

I also got this call this man was yelling at me calling me bad names he said  that I will be arrested by tomorrow I asked the man who is this and what company is he calling from he wouldn't tell me nothing

The call I received from 972-460-4265 from a male with a very thick accent that said he was with Davenport Lawfirm in Dallas - it was a personal emergency - and connected me to his "superior" who said her name was Michelle Jones.  Her lawfirm was trying to get payment for a "payday" loan that I did not take out.  They called initially looking for my husband and was going to put him in jail if he didn't pay.  I told them he was unavailable, so they told me if I assumed all responsibility, then they would tell me what was going on and that then if I didn't pay, that I would be arrested.  What worries me is they had my bank account information, his social security number (or at least the last 4 digits) and his drivers license number.  I am calling our local law enforcement and making a report through them and also with my bank.

Just received a phone call from thie number. Said he was agent Smith . foreign accent.   Very threathing.saying i owed money.for a pay day and i need to pay immedately, said they could take a credit card. He tried to make me beleive  he was a police officer and that the police would be knocking on my door soon.  I have never ever taken out a payday loan.I then hung up.

On February 7, 2013 approximately 6 pm EST, I received a call from Davenport Law firm in Dallas, TX from a representative name Danny Watson.  Mr. Watson stated that he called to advise that I will be arrested in the morning due to an outstanding loan.  Amount of loan in question is 756.21 – lender is American Cash and/or US Cash.  Michelle Jones read me an affidavit and asked if I have ever been arrested for fraud – I answered no and requested operation manager for collections department then she disconnected call.  I will file a complaint with Consumer Affairs as well as FDCPA (Law Offices of Michael Lupolover!

I ALSO RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS COMPANY ABOUT A PAYDAY LOAN 2X THIS YEAR, I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT! WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT THIS ? I KEPT CALLING THEM BACK 5X TO LET THEM KNOW HOW I FELT. THEY NOW HAVE A BUSY #. TO ME THEY HAVE TO MUCH INFO! WHO DO I FILE A COMPLAINT WITH?

This same number has called me over the last month too many times to count. Said my husband was going to be arrested by 11:00 tomorrow morning over a payday loan. He had all of my husbands information including drivers license, bank account number, and told me his name was Danny Watson. He basically said the same thing that Kendria is an earlier post said. He has called me 20 times today and has me so upset and I have a bad heart already. He told me if I paid 200 dollars today and 576 by the 15th, the payday loan would be covered. We did take out a payday loan by the first payment is not with the companies he mentioned and the first payment isn't due until the 15th. What should I do? I've heard of this happening before. And he said "good luck" before he hung up.

This man Dave Lloyd keeps calling me he's is threanting me that I am going to be arrested by tomorrow he is really scary me he keeps calling saying I better call back it's a personal matter that I owe a loan through cash America this man is very ride I ask him were he get my information he hangs up on me he has been calling my job to what can we do!!!!!! This man should be in a lot of trouble he calls from the same number and from unknown and a DIFFRENT # with all zero's
