I have been getting repeated calls from 975-964-2811. The caller hangs up when I answer or does not leave a message if I do not answer. I have been getting these calls at home and office.

To put it in simple terms, these callers are [***], trying to gain access to our computers, for illegal purposes.

A caller called at 9:30pm and once I answered transferred the phone to her supervisor or somebody. When I asked him what is the reason they are calling at this hour, and the shameless guy told that 'He is in love and that is the reason he called" B***C****p

Yet  ANOTHER  call from the [***] computer scammers! They try to rip off decent folks, in order to feed their poor starving camels. They can call every day until Christmas without getting an answer!

August 25th, 2014. Just got a call. Heavy accent so I could not understand at first what he was asking for but I said "I think you have the wrong number" and he said something along the lines "you sound young, are you married?" And that's when I said who is this and he hung up. [***] weirdo!!!

call came in at a little after midnight, no one was on the other end, or I was in a dead sleep that I don't remember if anyone talked back. But I would remember someone calling in a middle eastern voice, they stalked me about a year ago!

I never answer the phone from numbers I don't know.  I figured it was a SCAMMER, so thanks everyone who confirmed this.  We have been getting a lot of SCAM calls on our landline lately.

    Number has been blocked.

They called me at 11:55 pm. When you block the #, they just keep calling using other numbers. I would hope to God no one would be dumb enough to give them access to their computer.

Called and wanted to talk to my husband about our computer.  My husband said we don't have one.  They then asked if we had a laptop and my husband again said no.  Guy said, you don't have a laptop???  Husband again said no and hung up.

Have called 3 times since but we just don't answer when we see it is this Missouri number again.  Complete scammer and not good at it.

Thick Middle eastern accent.  Said he was Bob from the microsoft tech team. Said my computer was being attacked and was infected. Wanted my IP address to gain access to my computer.  I told him to that I was not interested and he yelled at me, "how can you not be interested??"  I hung up.  I have been called about four times in the last six months by them.

I answered.  Several seconds of silence, then a computer voice said "goodbye."

Scam call.  Long silence before the caller comes onto the line.  Caller id says it is from Missouri, but voice sounds Indian. Claims to be from Microsoft Tech support.  Asks what I am seeing on my computer screen right now.  Asked not to call again.  A second call came about 15 minutes later.

I am embarrassed to say that I allowed these folks into my computer. I was having problems with my computer and I received this call from "Windows Technical Dept". At first I was obviously skeptical but they actually had a serial number of my computer, some 20 (+/-) digit number and, combined with my having computer problems, I stupidly convinced myself these guys were real. They got into my computer and very soon my computer screen went all black, Basically, they then tried to blackmail me into buying a firewall for $349 which they said would solve my problem. When I refused to do so, they stayed in my  computer and keep calling me on the telephone as well as writing notes to me on the notepad page. With the help of a computer guru friend, I was finally able to reset my computer and get them out of it.
I can only imagine what they would have done if I had given them my credit card number to buy this "firewall".

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

They understand American cuss words just fine.  The jerk stayed on phone and heard every one! I called Microsoft this evening and gave them the numbers these m.f. people are calling from. They were more than happy to receive it. This is how they steal identity. Scum!!

They called last night at 9:54, said they were from Microsoft.  We received calls from 956-702-8570 and 954-423-4125, with in the last couple of days saying the same thing.  This is a scam.  If you look at the Microsoft website you will see that they say to not fall for these scams.  If there is a security problem they will contact your internet provider, not you.  There is no way possible that they have enough staff to contact every individual with a computer virus, it just doesn't make sense.  I think they call late at night when possibly you are not thinking quite as clearly as you would when you are awake.  I had some fun with them on one of the calls, but my wife probably did the best thing by just hanging up.
