Same thing, ID incoming caller “Anthem BCBS”, from 978-552-6118. Automated robovoice identifies as Anthem, asks me if I am *my name*, requests that I call 833-805-1253 for Important Information. Tried to reverse lookup the source of the number with results requesting personal info to access search results! Yeesh.

They got my name from my registration following up on a new Anthem group plan, on the Anthem site. The email confirmations generated from the site itself came in duplicates, then the site went inoperable as I tried to navigate further once signed in. Another Anthem AFL-CIO group plan info site url has been removed. Something odd about the whole thing.

Using both Yahoo and Google I clicked on several of the search results including the one on the Anthem website and was not asked for any personal information.  Why are you making that up?

I received a call today allegedly from Anthem BC/BS and sent it to voicemail.  I called the number they asked me to call and a computerized voice asked for my birth year.  I immediately hung up and phoned Anthem's REAL phone number!  Anthem had no idea who the caller was, so I BLOCKED their number (978-552-6118).  I have also requested from Anthem to mark my permanent records that I receive NO CALLS from Anthem unless I initiated the request for a call back!  You have every right to request NO CALLS, and Anthem will comply.  It's much safer than receiving calls from scammers.

Glad I checked. Got 4 calls in 2 days. All robot callers. Told me to call 833-805-1253, got same type message from 833-552-1038 ID said "Care guide" - how they got my number?? and knew I was interested in BCBS- I don't know

Left a message claiming to be from BCBS wanting to "verify" information and left a different number to call. Total scam.

Had the exact same robocall at 7:40 at night. I also hung up when they asked me for birth date. Anthem should really know better if this is them.

Rec'd same exact voicemail Feb 14, 2025.  Did not respond.
