We've been receiving calls from this number for weeks, usually once a day, but twice today. It's always "Susan", our "local Google representative".

She said her name was Susan and she is a google specialist. How do I make these calls stop?????

just got another one of these "time waster" recorded calls. I get one at least everyday. Obviously a scam or some shady company that only a fool would deal with.

There must be some real way to go after these people for wasting my time CONSISTANTLY.

Recording saying it's "Susan" from Google and there is an advertising opportunity for one company in my area to have "special" ranking on page 1 of Google.  Scam!

To the other Lisa, I agree, this same recording calls me repeatedly.  Let me know if you find out how to get rid of them.

I just yell F*** O*** as loud as I can in their ear.  If everyone did that they would probably stop calling.   For one thing robot dialers are illegal in Canada according to the CRTC.  

Reporting the call to The Do Not Call List does nothing.   I think they just collect their fat salaries and pensions, and all complaints are filtered into trash.  They are useless.  It's been going on for years and the CRTC has done nothing.

I don't have call display on my work phone, but I get a call from "Susan, your local Google specialist" at least several times a week here in Vancouver, BC. I just hang up, but the f&ck*rs keep calling. They must be pretty stupid not to catch on!

I have politely requested and yelled at these callers and still they waste my time and p*ss me off.
I'm thinking this is a SPAM franchise operation.

AREA CODE 978 is northcentral & most of northeastern Massachusetts... I'm in Western Canada.

Received this call today to a landline at work. No one was on the line when I picked up.

This number calls every week with credit card interest or debt consolidation. Asked to delete us, does not help. There was a court case in NS where the judge decided that the telephone company should prevent such phone calls ...

THEY CALLED TODAY (AUGUST 2012) STATING TO BE GOOGLE AT FIRST ON A RECORDING, SAYING THEY COULD INCREASE MY WEB VIISIBILTY IF I PRESSED 1.

I PRESSED 1 AND SOME GUY ANSWERED. I ASKED RIGHT AWAY WHY THEIR NAME WAS ANONYMUS (MY PHONE INDICATED TEH NUMBER BUT NAME WAS "UNKNOWN") IF THEY WERE GOOGLE.

THE GUY SAID "WE ARE NOT GOOGLE BUT WE WORK WITH THEM". I ASKED AGAIN WHY IS THEIR NAME ANONYMUS BECAUSE BEFORE I ANSWER ALL THEIR QUESTIONS ABOUT ME OR MY COMPANY, I WANT TO KNOW WHO I AM TALKING TO, SINCE FRAUD IS SO PREVALENT THESE DAYS.

HE SAID THEIR NAME WAS "S.E.M.".

OKAY, THEN WHY DO YOU KEEP IT PRIVATE SAID I, AND WHAT DOES S.E.M. STAND FOR ? ...

THE GUY HUNG UP RIGHT THERE WITHOUT A WORD...
