They called twice tonight 6:58 & 7:00 pm 3/31/14. The caller had limited command of English and hung up on the 1st call. The 2nd call he said he was from Microsoft and called about a problem with my PC. I stopped him and said that I was aware of their scam and to stop calling. I hung up immediately.

I answered because I was sick and tired of hearing the phone ring!  When I did, it was a recording that just said Goodbye!! So irritating!!

I received a call, my wife answered and it was a woman on the line claiming to know that one of our computers sent an error message to Microsoft and they wanted to fix it.  She gave the phone to me and then a man got on the phone and said the same thing. I said no message had been sent and he started to get pushy about removing the "junk".  Told him I would not talk anymore to him and that I was going to check out the number and his business. That ended the call. We are also on the Do Not Call list.

Called with a Nigerian accent, pretended to be from Microsoft - to presume about a problem with our PC stopped him or her and said that we were aware of their scam and to stop calling, hung up immediately. Hang up the moment they pretend to be from Microsoft, with that intention, it works every time, yet they continue to call us, after repeated attempts to tell them to stop, or we continue to hang up on them, the moment we are aware of them, they intend to continue calling, they did some research and discovered our name, therefore now call us by name. "As sure as the sun comes up and goes down" they will call back, until there gone and stop playing this game.

Same scam with me yet they claimed to be from Windows and my pc was sending out malicious files.  This person sounded like an Indian male.  We are on th Do Not Call list as well and when I told him I know this is a scam to hijack my pc he hung up.
