Where to Report Phone Crime

Received a call at 4:33 and again at 6:35 caller said my computer had been hacked .....wrong , this is a new computer with virus protection so I know this was a scam

The do not call list i called , and added my tel # to in Montgomery al, is a damn joke . It hasnt stopped, and as a matter of fact i believe the solicitation has increased

TIGTA has been directing tax fraud calls to them since 2010.  This didn't start in 2016 like the prior poster implies.

iphones will let you block as many as you wish. HOWEVER, that's no help when the numbers calling you are spoofed.

For the past 2 nights we have been called around 11:43PM - I answered both calls due to the time of night and blessed and cursed him our it was the same number both nights which is 707-570-2040.  I have been scammed a couple of times , because I was brought up to trust everyone.  I am 81 years old and my husband is 88 and in poor health.  Sure wish there was some way to rid us of these annoying phone calls.  Most of the time I do not answer any number I don't recognize, I have even let them go to the answering machine and I am at my wits end receiving the unwanted numbers.  Any Suggestions?

It's called "catfishing". My son told me there is / was a cable show about it. Some guy tried that with me on FB. You ladies out there need to beware of these "friend requests",especially us older girls. I get 3-5 requests a week & now I just delete them asap.Their profiles have very little to almost nothing & usually if they have any "friends" it'll be all women. They're scammers......run for your lives!!!!!!!!!

I'm a local government employee in the state of New York, 6 years ago I wrote up the deputy sheriff for abusing their Authority. Since then I have been slandered, telling people I beat up kids and senior citizens, and I'm 62 years old! I also have been in touch with the New York State Attorney General and have sat down with both of the New York state troopers and the deputy sheriff's, and it only got worse! They come to my job sit in the parking lots and wait for me to leave and then get on their cell phones and tell people I'm on my way. I've had guns pointed at my head, I've had tractor-trailers come at me head-on!!, I've actually had school buses come into my my lane and they have kids in them! I've had my medical records changed, they told me I had hepatitis C and I never did!, and they have passed it On Through To other states, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, I have actually gone to an attorney and made up a will because I feel as though one day I will be shot and killed, and the worst part about this whole thing is at I've always respected and admired all law enforcement people, my beliefs have changed! I can go on and on and tell all the horrible things that's been done to me everyday, they even harass my 92 year old father in 88 year old mother who live in Florida, and that's over 1,200 miles from New York all being done by cell phones and group texting numbers

First I want to say I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to you, yes it does suck what's happening to us, in my case the police are totally involved and they're allowing this harassment and allowing my civil rights to be violated, I've contacted the Attorney General I have reported it to my boss who is the County of Orange in New York and I've also tried to get in touch with my union, CSEA, and they're totally avoiding me, now it's getting so bad they're sending people to my park at 6:15 in the morning and wanting to fight me! But I'm not going to give up I'm going to keep going after them as they go after me, and I get the impression they don't like that! Hope to hear back from you, good luck with everything!

Don't bother reporting your "crime" to the police or FBI.  It's a joke.  They NEVER get back to you nor do they EVER look into it.  Waste of time while the crooks keep scamming people.

Same here. All of it since May 2015. And though I’m not tech savvy I have pure science aptitude and used clever sleuthing to catch him. But it took over a year and became violent. Attempts on my life.  2 PCs a notebook & about 25 phones stolen as the federal crimes mounted and a simple P2P grew into a global net of sociopaths.  It’s escalating again after ATT brought the feds on board. When they were being hacked through my internet account.   But the hackers hacked between me and the federal agent communicating with me.  And the spoofing with my text app caused him to think I was whack a doodle. He asked me if I still believed I could control satellites with my mind, and my heart sunk.  Now I’m with Verizon & Apple products and they both said it was time to go to the police last week.  I’m scared. But they’re really aggressive.
A stalker’s aim is to isolate the target from friends and family. So I’ve been alone with this. Except when in June 2016 I contacted the County sheriffs office a women deputy saw it at the beginning of the more innocuous stuff.

I’ve tried negotiating with head hacker.  But he didn’t believe I wouldn’t call the agent and cooperate giving names.

I said go in remotely but don’t alter anything or show yourself and you’ll see I’m not cooperating.  8 months later it was full scale on again because I was trying to work out a settlement with ATT for too little too late.

It’s been so depressing. I am a resurch scholar an I keep losing my work.  Years of work.  And I’m trying to get a Fulbright scholarship.  How many times can I start over?  I’m 56.

Att is easy to hack on purpose.  They work with the FBI, NSA, and DEA to help in criminal investigations.

I’m at a loss as what to do.  I backed up in clouds and had several google accounts hijacked and google couldn’t/wouldn’t help me recover them.

I didn’t even know them. They hung out in my neighborhood and they wanted to run me off after vandalizing my cabin beyond repair so the one too dude could buy it cheap.  I had it leveled to the ground and had it hauled to a landfill.

My son got me an iPhone with 500 GB storage so they can’t glut my 16GB storage with multiple copies of my stuff and insert software remotely that allows them access to a ton of invasive bots that my every move awake and asleep.

There’s no apparent financial gain... but they won’t stop.

This list should advise folks that they may want to file a small claims case, and be awarded statutory damages, if the TCPA is violated by a call, text or fax!

I feel sorry for the folks posting here who seem to be in need of psychiatric help.  Psychotic delusions, incoherent writing...paranoia, seeing conspiracies everywhere. :-(    This is no fun for the person, and there are effective treatments.  :-)
