Fake payday loan collection scams - Please list new numbers here.

I began receiving calls on Fri. May 20 and it has been nonstop.
I do not even have a personal checking account!
The calls are the same as everyone here. Accents with threats.
They have called my work too and one message said serious
allegations against my SSN ending in XXXX!
How did they get this info????
The names and numbers are Rex Howard (Rex means king in that language)
484-223-3756 and Dusty Langer 281-886-8187 also gave name of William Scott.
I filed a complaint with the Iowa State  Atty office today after speaking to a
consumer advocate and we will have these  guys SHUT DOWN!!

Hello. I want to add the following phone numbers for these scammers. 1877-410-0612 (Ashley Anderson & James Griffin w/Bakers & Associates) David Phelps w/Telnet Corportation 1877-834-4106. I have been harrassed since Dec 2010 and this month it started again after stopping for three months. Please see my other posts under these two mentioned phone numbers. One of my posts I used my nickname Cindy. I intend to report recent harrassement to the Federal Trade Commission. If you want to file a complaint please call the Commisson at:1877-382-4357. I read the other post on here and I want to call the guy from Fox and share my story if it is not too late. I will try him tomorrow. We need to stop these crooks before this continues. BEWARE OF AMERICAN SCAMMERS CALLED CPS ---CHECK PROTECTION SERVICES. THEY CALL YOU UP AND TRY TO HARASS YOU INTO PAYING A DEBT YOU ALREADY PAID. THEY CONSTANTLY CALL AND WILL NOT DIVULGE ANY INFORMATION. THEY ARE PONDSCUM AND LAZY LOOOSERS. I HAVE PROOF THAT I REPAID A LOAN I GOT 17 MONTHS AGO...BUT WHEN I ASKED THEM FOR PROOF THAT I OWE AND VERIFICATION THEY SAY THEY DO NOT HAVE TO SEND ME ANYTHING, HOW STUPID IS THAT. IGUESS THEY THINK I'M REALLY STUPID AND I JUST PAY PEOPLE WHEN THEY CALL ME OVER THE PHONE.  THESE PEOPLE WILL CURSE AT YOU, USE RACIAL SLURS, THREATEN TO GARNISH YOUR WAGES AND THREATEN YOUR FAMILY.
THEY ARE ALSO COWARDS BECAUSE THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD BE OUT AT MY HOUSE IN 2 DAYS AND I WAITED FOR THEM WITH UNCLE BENNY AND UNCLE JOHNNIE BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. REPORT THEM TO THE FTC AND THE ATTORNEY GENERAL. I AM THINKING OF GETTING A LAWYER AND SUEING THEM.

I got the same call but different number 2099122108 Very heavy Indian accent But her name was Kimmy Snider..... wow I hope it doesnt go further than these stupid phone calls

Don't get tricked by the American scammers they leave messages with anyone that will answer the phone stating they are CPS, really clever....but they are a scandolous collection agency, trying to convince you that you owe for a debt already paid. They use names like James Brown, John Largo, Julia Roberts and the latest Taylor Hicks. Their office is located in California. They are real scammers.If they call you just ask for validation and then you will be rid of them cause they can't validate crap. All the do is yell at you and scream out threats that they cannot keep. Try to scare you but I wasn't born yesterday..Besides I don't do threats, I just make promises and KEEP THEM.

I hope a california earthquake rumbles thorugh and suck them all up, worthless piece of trash they are. I work hard and I pay my debts and don't need to be hassled by some lowlifes that have stolen my information. I think they are also associated with Bill in the box and this Maurauder. Anyway they are a bunch of crooks. I hope they suffer in hell.

Got a call from 818-659-7511 from the 'cybercrime unit' saying that I took out a payday loan of $1500, and agreed to pay it back.  After several attempts to withdraw the funds, the company has decided to take legal action against me.  Also said that unless i provide my full social security number, routing number, and checking account number so that the funds can be withdrawn, my local law enforcement department will come and 'drag me to the court'.  I already knew it was a scam, but I called my bank anyway because they did have the name of my bank and a part of my account number.  The bank manager called them back and told them that no such deposits OR attempted withdrawals existed, and then they told the bank manager that they will also have her arrested for lying to them!!!!!!  Nevertheless, the calls have continued since yesterday at my home AND on my cell phone.  I am not answering the calls, but the messages are comical!  This is your last chance to pay....just give us the account number so we can withdraw the funds and this will be over.....if you do no comply, a very bad situation will unfold upon you.......  Very disturbing, and ANNOYING!!!!

So glad I stumbled across this from doing a reverse number search, ONCE AGAIN!! I've been dealing with the same crap & have been ignoring the calls, due to them being false accusations & knowing it was total BS! I don't have all the numbers, since I've deleted them from my caller ID, but I get this call at least once a month. A man with a heavy indian accent with all kinds of different junk, from my life will end to the police are coming for me. It's outrageous. I have recieved the same messages, and I recognize the names you have listed. How I handled the situation was I told them to call back in about 15 min, they did and officer Smith spoke to the guy. I guess he got scared nd hung up. Seriously though they need to get a life... What's going to happen is they are going to make someone so mad that they are going to locate these idiots and give them a reason to take them to court...

Just received a nasty phone call from a male voice (I think) with very Asian-type accent.  Said he was calling from an FBI company about an outstanding debt I had with a PDL company.  Asked to verify my SS#, home address, and bank information.  I said NO WAY. I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he said he would transfer my call.  He then punched some numbers on his phone (I could hear him doing it).  Then he said I should give him my lawyer's phone number so he can call him.  Like that's going to happen.  I insisted that he give me his supervisor's number, and he gave me 661-368-5693.  So I looked it up on 800notes and was referred here.  I hate to change my home phone number, but that may be my next step.  I have major health problems, am elderly, and housebound.  I don't need this stress.  There three separate payday loan companies that have been harassing me for the past three days.  I may have taken out a quick loan with one of them back in 2009, but I have ample proof of repayment and reconciliation of any responsibility there.  I am about to call our area FBI Field Office.  I would love to play even a small role in dismantling or destroying this despicable operation.  I will report back here any progress or next steps.

I just received a call from a company calling themselves, Orange County Legal. I couldn't believe all the info they had on me! 9 months ago I applied for a payday loan and have since paid it off. I thought for some reason these guys were legit and maybe one of my payments didnt go through. What bothers me the most is the fact they have my work phone #. This can be very humiliating if they start calling my workplace. The ph# they used today was (916) 395-0000.    BE AWARE WHEN GIVING OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!

Here is another name and number that have been calling me relentlessly....Corporate Law Office says he is Romeo McKenzie the number comes up 760-354-9133.  Very thick Indian Accent, I can hardly understand what he is saying but he tells me I owe money and would I like to clear it up, when I ask whom and what for, he became agitated. Then he tells me if I don't want to go to jail, he can give me 24 hours to come up $600 to settle  my debt. I asked 21 times for verification and I also asked for his address and he soon got tired of my questions and hung up.  I called back several times but only got a recording.

The US government needs to step it up and catch the liars, they are harassing good hardworking American citizens.  And I want to say, I did get an internet loan from Ace Cash Express, I thought they were a good company.  I paid them back about 2 weeks later with interest and thank God I haven't had to borrow any thing else so apparently Ace sold my information or the scammers stole it, not sure.  One thing I am sure of is that I will never apply for another loan over the internet.
