Fake Publishers Clearing House

I called the general number at PCH as I had questions and I was informed by a PCH  customer service  member to call 516-499-8410 and speak to either Michael Collins or Deborah Holland.  When I called I spoke to a man who said he was Michael Collins.  He informed me that I won $2,500,000 and a Mercedes Benz.   I was informed that I had to send money to Romone Allen in Orlando Florida to have the group come to my house and deliver the money and car.  I was also told that I needed to send money to pay taxes.  I was confused as multiple times PCH told me that if you win you will not have to pay any money.  So I am very sad as I have entered daily for a number of years and I do not know what is really true as I have been scammed a number of times.  The man who I spoke to seemed very nice but I am confused about what he told me to do and my family said I was  scammed again.  I am very sad as I really want to win for the truth.

This is definitely a scam. PCH does not inform winners by phone. Never send money to anyone you do not absolutely know is legit.

I received a call last nite at 8:37 telling me I owed 98.85, from PCH, they listed some items that I do not have, is this a scam, is this really pch or is it a scam to try to get money.

It's a brand new day. When do you plan to contact PCH, and not the strangers on the phone, with your billing question?

The REAL PCH will never call you and say you've won such and such prize but in order to claim it you must send $$$ via Western Union or Money gram. They will never call you and ask you to do that. The people who are claiming their PCH are scam artists looking to get money out of you. And PCH would most likely send you a letter or email saying you've won. That being said the real PCH should be informed of these scammers pretending to be them. Just like the IRS PCH can put a warning on their website informing everyone of these scammers!

Marsha, dear, you are obviously computer literate as you found your way here.  PCH itself has information on this scam and warns of it on their website. With PCH or any legitimate company, you can always go to their web site before doing any kind of business with them.  In addition, since you talk about having been "scammed again," you should make it a habit to never answer unknown callers or numbers you don't recognize and BEFORE you make payments to anyone check with your family.  Here's PCH's warning of the scam: read it thoroughly as the advice applies to many different sweepstakes.

It was a fleeting burst of Catholic guilt? Or, Ms. Jones failed to punctuate her sentence to indicate that she later realized the fraud.

This man called me Nov 15 2016 saying he was publisher clearing house he said I won 3.5 million dollars and car  we got cut off  I looked it up on Google about it on publisher clearing House they that they don't  call well he called back that I told him they the publisher clearing House don't call it was a scam he hung up !!

Well I received a message from pch stating I had won and I just need ed to verify my name adress and phone number . It stated I did not have to pay any fees delivery fees or nothing . I had to verify my address with stoneware delivery services . So I hvnt been asked to snd any money nor provide banking info.  Is it a scam

Did you bother to read the 14 pages of posts here before asking that question?  Were you contacted by phone?  If so did you put the number in the search box as instructed on the home page and check that thread for your answer?

Yes these  people are scum of the earth.. On YouTube their are people calling the scammers and trying to waste the scammers time.. So that they don't call Senior Citizens.. I am sorry about your Dad losing 300.00
